  1. RHP Zach Vennaro has signed with independent Gastonia for the 2024 season.
  2. No problem, it happens! Excited to see what Tobias can do in Milwaukee!
  3. Should also clarify- Briceno is 100% healthy at this point in time.
  4. Unfortunately, it is one of those times during the year that is my least favorite for the transaction thread. RHP Kevin Briceno was released today and I fear that more moves will be announced in the near future.
  5. I will look more into it, but my expectation is that if Quero goes on the shelf for any amount of time, Clarke will move up to AAA and Garcia will head to Biloxi (Garcia will also help with the running game in Biloxi as someone mentioned could be a problem there in another thread). If that is not the case, I believe Alejandro Rodriguez will head back to the ACL when play begins and Garcia will move up to Wisconsin while Edgardo Ordonez takes his place in Carolina.
  6. RHP Tanner Shears, who was selected as Milwaukee’s reliever on their MiLB Organizational All-Star Team last year, underwent successful Tommy John surgery yesterday. He will miss the entire season and the early portion of 2025.
  7. Wanted to come back to this when I had time, but I spoke with a couple Brewers farmhands while I was in Arizona who both said that Yophery is the most gifted baseball player that they have ever seen. One even clarified that he believes Rodriguez will be THE star player on the Brewers in a couple years above Chourio, Contreras, Yelich, etc.
  8. Thompson is wrapping up rehab from an offseason surgery and “will be active for Nashville for their home opener.” Just ever so slightly behind on his rehab and will only miss three regular season games luckily.
  9. 1B Tayden Hall will start the season with the Mudcats once again.
  10. 1B Wes Clarke will not begin 2024 with Nashville as I previously reported, he also returns to Biloxi. Thus is the downside of having depth in the upper minors.
  11. RHP Josh Knoth will make his pro debut with the Mudcats next week
  12. Yophery Rodriguez will indeed follow the Chourio-Lara trajectory and skip the ACL en route to Carolina.
  13. 2B Jadher Areinamo will return to A+ Wisconsin to start the season. He had a brief stint there in 2022 as an 18-year-old.
  14. LHP Nate Peterson is moving up to AA Biloxi to start the season.
  15. Most players that are starting the year in AAA left Arizona yesterday. As for your other questions, I may have answers for you tomorrow night.
  16. RHP TJ Shook returning to Biloxi for another go around.
  17. 1B Zavier Warren going to Biloxi as well. Lots of familiar faces in AA to start the year.
  18. Add LF Isaac Collins to the list of names headed to Nashville
  19. SS Freddy Zamora heading back to Biloxi as well
  20. Frustrated for him because he deserves better, but hopefully a short stay back in Biloxi: LF Noah Campbell starting 2024 with the Shuckers.
  21. Stating the obvious here, but just getting these out of the way by confirming all of the following are heading to Nashville to start the season- RHP Carlos Rodriguez RHP Evan McKendry RHP Tobias Myers RHP Janson Junk LHP Robert Gasser RHP James Meeker LHP Darrell Thompson C Brian Navarreto 1B Wes Clarke 2B Oliver Dunn 2B Patrick Dorrian SS Vinny Capra 3B Tyler Black LF Brewer Hicklen CF Chris Roller CF Chavez Young
  22. Confirmed another unsurprising assignment to start the year- RHP Harold Chirino will head to AAA Nashville
  23. 3B Luke Adams will begin his second full professional season with the Rattlers. Not a surprising assignment, but still impressive as just a 19-year-old on Opening Day.
  24. Not sure when we will see his name in the lineup, but he looked completely healthy when I saw him earlier this week.
