    1 for 9 with RISP
  2. yourout
Bauers look more comfortable at the plate all the time.
  3. yourout
I know he's played there but I wouldn't call him a top shelf defensive center fielder. He can play there and he's not terrible but he's not going to win a gold glove there.
  4. yourout
Ashby's kind of evolving into a early Hader like reliever.
  5. yourout
I know he's not really a natural center fielder but I wonder if Jackson will get some innings out there with Bauer in left and Yeli DHing.
  6. yourout
I would rather he tried to find a splitter to steal on.
  7. yourout
Really depends on whether they want to start the clock on him while waiting for Lockridge to return.
  8. yourout
There will be more complaining if they dont.
  9. yourout
    Dayum.....nice having an Ace again.
  10. yourout
Really need to be scouring the scrap heap for some temp help.
  11. yourout
I suspect had Lockridge not gotten injured He might have gotten sent down if he has options left.
  12. yourout
    2 for 23 with 12ks

    Nice inning by Miz.

Sometimes you live by the ABS and sometimes you die by it.
  15. yourout
Not going to be easy for Miz tonight.
  16. yourout
    Put some pitches on him...
  17. yourout
Hopefully the 2nd trip through the order has better ABs.
  18. yourout
Having to work hard to get through 2.
  19. yourout
    That was disturbingly easy.

Bigger issue is getting his front foot on the ground on time. The big front foot lift means you have zero margain for error on reading the speed of the pitch and getting it on the ground. Ohtani radically changed his front foot mechanics because of that. We have had a history of bad front foot mechanics from Huira to Arcia to Urias to Wiemer to Black. Some of them did not come through the farm system but either way we dont correct it early.

Nice win against a decent squad.

Needed to challenge on the previous hitter.
  23. yourout
Megill with some terrible 2 strike deliverys
  24. yourout
Would have liked a few more runs. These guys can score.
  25. yourout
At least he has a big hit and run scored to go with the sombrero.
