One season long theme for this season is bad 3rd periods.

To bad Hauser is hurt. Both buckeye goals so far are Charmin. Pulver is not B10 caliber.

Would have liked a bit better free throw shooting but outside of that.... Damn good half.

Pretty solid win. Better defense and we had the better goalie (s) for a change. OSU is not great but they did go into Minnesota last week and swept the gophers.

I thought we were suppose to get home cooking from the refs? We are getting the road treatment.

Must be nice having special teams play a significant part in a big win instead of a big loss.

I'm beginning to think that Hastings is very good at getting teams ready to go to start the year but they tend to get to their ceiling and kind of stall while everybody else starts a bit slow and then has superior talent in the end. And this year with all the freshmen I think it's even more pronounced. Montgomery has all but disappeared after showing so much early season promise.

Both QBs have been kind of sucky. Mayes just sucked more.

I think there is a little more to it than just that. Better schemes and fewer black holes

It is nice watching competent special teams play. I had forgotten what that looked like.

There has been a few other snoozers but this one is right up the so far.

The speed and tackling especially by the secondarys is shocking compared to ours.

The sequence with the charge almost looked like the refs were looking for something they could legitimately tag Wisconsin with especially when they let the obvious intentional foul go.

I have pretty much flushed the thought of Bucky getting into the NCAA tourney with the remaining schedule they have and the way they are defending. Just win enough to stay in 4th and get a home conference playoff game. Hopefully they find some big long defenseman to add next year and another goalie.

Pulver is unplayable and Hauser is only slightly better.

Crap like that is why people wonder if the referees are on the take. It's hard to be that bad without intent.

The league should be embarrassed for that. That was a straight up gift to Indiana from the zebras.
