    I'm a huge fan of simple hitting mechanics like Pratt has. Minimal amount of movement with a short compact swing

    Bauers might have the best swing mechanics on the team. Most of the youngsters that are coming up have pretty decent swing mechanics Pratt and Lara in particular.

    We can get by in the regular season without many long balls but its death in the playoffs when facing good pitching and good defense. Brewers are good at making teams pay for walks and poor defense but struggle when they dont get help.

    The game sure has changed from the days where most teams had four man rotations and many of them would go seven eight or nine innings. Granted most weren't throwing triple digit gas. Not sure what velocity so the old timers would have based on today's technology. Nolan Ryan and JR Richards come to mind.

    The alarm bells were going off and the lights were flashing with the fact we kept putting lead off runners on The previous innings. You keep doing that and eventually it's going to turn into a big number.
