    Been trying to dig up video from earlier in the year and turang has definitely changed his setup and his hand positioning and bat angle during the pitch. Early in the season he had a relatively quiet hand positioning with a 30° angle or so of the bat behind his shoulders and he was able to get a better look at pitches. Now he's standing the bat straight up samurai style just like Ortiz then having to reposition. Not sure how hitting coaches with access to video for every pitch can't pick up on the stuff.

    Too many of our young guys insist on setting up with the bat almost vertical and then have to generate angular motion to get the bat to the proper launch point. Been watching Turang do it now as well and Ortiz is definitely doing it. Way too much wasted bat movement.
