  1. I think they will be marginally better but the 9 game run was certainly a bit "flukey" and probably not sustainable with this roster. Hard to say if it will be good enough to hold off the Cubs.
  2. Record in one run games taking a few dings.
  3. Walks and errors will bite you at the worst time.
  4. He is in a 1 for 13 stretch. Rookies will be rookies at times.
  5. Hard the win ball games scoring one run in 14 innings.
  6. This guy is making one hell of a case for automating the strike zone.
  7. I don't have data to back it up but I feel like the Cubs hitters are more apt to scratch some runs in a bad wind situation. Brewer hitters are far too geared to hit fly balls. My gut says Cubs three to one.
  8. Box score has them 0 for 5 with RISP.
  9. Excess Launch angle bit them in this one.
  10. Going to be a big game tomorrow.
  11. I want to see him slice one around the right field foul Pole.
  12. Well I'm assuming Felick will pinch hit for Weimer.
  13. Not gonna be their night tonight.
  14. Heck of an effort by Burnes. I guess they're saving the nickel for the 8th inning tonight.
  15. As ugly as that looks Weimer pointing the bat straight out across the plate only to put it back behind his shoulder is far far far worse. At least with Tettleton the bat head is relatively close to the proper launch point even if the angle is wrong.
  16. For anyone who has ever been a hitting coach he is a great example of what NOT to do.
  17. Weimer has more hand and bat repositioning that anyone I have ever seen in the MLB.
  18. Nights like this I wish Burnes was more able to attach the top of the zone with 4 seamers. Cubs are gearing for balls down.
  19. Will be interesting to see if Steele starts the top of the 7th.
