    Was I wrong in thinking/hoping that Santana and Canha would at least not suck and at least be slightly better than what they were replacing? Not asking for much just hit .230 or so and contribute once in a while.

    The addition of the DH has actually hurt the Brewers considerably. It's made our starting pitching have to work harder while we get almost the same production we were getting when our pitchers were hitting. I think the crews lead in the division would be bigger if the national league was still like it used to be without a DH.

    With no margain for error and an over used bull pen it's a losing strategy.

    As much as the miserable 10th sucked the fact all they could muster was 3 runs is usually going to lose.

    The flip side to scoring 10+ last night usually means 10 runs total for the rest of the week.

    In the pre DH days he would be a lock. I still think he sticks because of the bat but it's not as cut and dryed as before.
