  1. They certainly are easier on the eyes.
  2. If you want to consistently hit velocity you need two things. A short stroke that gets on the plane of the pitch as early as possible and stays there as long as possible. And 2 feet on the ground to generate rotation. He has neither.
  3. If they go 4 and 13 is would be fine with a complete house cleaning from Guty on down. I have seen nothing in talent or coaching to think a super bowl is possible in the next 5 years.
  4. Yeah but that won't happen. $$$ trumps everything and the more teams the more $$$.
  5. That is the slider equivalent to the Devin Williams change up. Basically unhittable.
  6. Big series this weekend at the Gophs. Nice to be excited about it again. Should be fun year and looking forward to the next home game against Michigan. I'm glad I picked up a couple of season tickets.
  7. Ginkel has wicked movement.
  8. It should have been. Can't completely stop the foot at any time.
  9. Now it's big trouble.
  10. That lead off walk could really come back to bite him.
  11. As you know I'm a bit of a mechanics nut from my coaching days and it's refreshing not to see anybody lifting their front foot up to their waist while swinging at a 45° angle to the pitch. Or the train wreck that is Weimer.
  12. Really impressed with the hitting mechanics of the Diamondbacks. No excessive launch angles and screwed up footwork.
  13. Fun game so far. Two heavyweights.
  14. Congrats to the rangers. Should be a good series no matter who they face.
  15. Not sure but whatever it is the Vikings are vastly superior to the Packers in offensive scheme. Not even close.
  16. None of the remaining playoff teams have the mechanical quirks like the Brewers had. Pretty mechanically sound for the most part.
  17. Sucks to say but Kevin O'Connell is far superior to MLF game planning an offense.
  18. It would depend on how much freedom the QB had to make changes at the line and get them out of crappy plays.
  19. Just seems like they are getting weaker by the game with injuries and not improving overall while almost everyone else making at least moderate improvement. I would not be the least bit surprised if the bears beat them in Lambeau.
  20. Wonder if maybe they'll be a little flat after taking on Penn State last Saturday. Too bad they don't have a tougher opponent in 2 weeks that would require their attention.
  21. In days gone by I would say that's helpful for the Badgers but not with this squad. This version has to be able to pass at least a little bit.
  22. Maybe check his emails and make sure he is not CCing the game plan to the opponent?
  23. The list of Vets they have that someone would want is pretty short. The list of Vets they have that are healthy and someone would want is even shorter.
  24. From a year ago but a pretty funny rant.
