  1. It may have went as a wild pitch but that was pretty lazy mechanics by that catcher.
  2. I'm not sure you could ask a whole lot more than he's giving you considering where he came from.
  3. Anyone know what the cumulative numbers for the DH position are for the Brewers this year? It's got to be among the worst in the MLB.
  4. I'm okay with leaving and where he is and probably getting better pitches to hit.
  5. Unless he goes into a serious slump you pretty much just have to leave him in the lineup and take your lumps with the rookie.
  6. That's what you should do with pipe shot fastballs. Well done young man.
  7. Wonder how much different this season would look with a Paul Goldschmidt type hitter in the four spot. The lack of production from the middle of the order is just brutal.
  8. The Winker experiment needs to end.
  9. I'll give Urias credit for one thing. He does get some walks and gets on base at a respectable rate considering his BA.
  10. Basically traded one of the worst hitting coaches in baseball for the 2 that were one spot above him
  11. More importantly why is he brought in in a one-run ball game. It's like punting on 4th and one with 2 minutes to go in the game.
  12. The fact that they have not gotten a decent homegrown hitter from the farms in over a a decade tells me there's a problem with talent evaluation and coaching.
  13. Fixing the offense is a multi-year project. Honestly I don't think they have people in management capable of doing it right now.
  14. Looking at video they seem to have fixed the swinging gate front foot to a more conventional knee retract and replace. https://www.mlb.com/braves/video/dero-on-orlando-arcia-s-journey
  15. Wonder if they fixed some of his mechanical issues? Like most of the hitters that came through the Brewer pipeline there was big problems with his front foot
  16. With the amount of money these guys get paid nowadays and the training and medical advice at their disposal there's really no excuse for being grossly overweight. Hell even pro golfers with a few exceptions are pretty fit these days.
  17. Woof woof........woof. That has to be the worst and The bigs by a mile.
  18. The pattern of scoring one run or less once every four games seems to be holding.
  19. Nice to win a bit of a shootout for a change.
  20. Did rowdy just pop up a 3-0 pipe shot?
  21. Good things happen when you don't go K, ground out, K
