  1. Wonder how much the odds of the Reds winning change after the Brewers didn't score in the top of the nineth?
  2. Never in my wildest dreams did I think Jace would have a OPS of .830 and OBP of almost .400 after 100 ABs.
  3. Kind of a double whammy tonight. Woodruff pitching which means very few runs of offense and they scored 10 runs last night which usually means you struggle to score two the next game
  4. Crap like that fuels the conspiracy theorist in me
  5. Send him down and leave him there until September at the earliest or until we have new hitting coach. Haines is not capable of fixing him.
  6. LOL, good call! Is the constant negative energy thing a message board schtick, or is this really how you are in real life? It's easier to be pessimistic because it doesnt hurt as bad when you(they) fail. Growing up in the seventies and being a brewer and packer and badger fan it's almost a self-defense mechanism. After getting beat on enough you tend to expect the worst at the worst possible moment.
  7. I thought it was a bad call at the time, but looking at it again, I have to agree. In almost every situation, if a runner has no intent to advance, they turn the other way so there can be no confusion. If Yelich turns the other way, he is fine. I think the umps got it right with Yelich. The strike zone on the other hand.......
  8. Bump.[/quote Last 7 games 4 for 20 with 12ks and one of those hits was a gift double.. Same refrain.... Goes down and hits. Comes back up hits for a week then goes right back in the tank.
  9. I think two runs actually counts as a big inning for the Brewers offense. Actually one run is a big inning for this bunch.
  10. Not going to happen without significant changes in coaching. His job is as safe as can be. I meant Haines.
