  1. I really don't think they fixed anything with Huira. Still can't hit fast balls that are mid thigh or higher. Basically can only hit pitches in one spot.
  2. That is one of the very few times I've ever seen Pina use poor mechanics on a block.
  3. I put the odds at somebody getting ejected before this one's over at about 50/50
  4. Basically anything above mid thigh is going to be too high for him to get to with that massive uppercut
  5. He will have some early success and the longer he is around Maestro Haines the worse he will get.
  6. They were hitting .215 through April 30th. They hit .207 in May. They are hitting .204 in June through last night. That's discouraging. I would like to see a graph with the team batting average from the time Hanes was hired till now. But I also like to see a graph with the prior batting average from the previous three or four years.
  7. Channel changer came early in this one. The only thing left to watch is to see if they get no no ed.
  8. I must say this team continues to surprise me with the number of runs they get versus the number of hits they get. Not sure if they keep the stat of runs per hit but they have to be right up there with the leaders.
  9. Good for him. There are some dates in life that are more important than your job or a baseball game.
  10. It's amazing they score as many runs as they do given the number of hits per game. They must have the highest runs per hit ratio in the bigs.
  11. 1 for 3 with 2 walks. And the hit was a double. His line was good for a 238 wRC+ on the night. So if that’s the Yelich they get for the rest of the contract then they have a future Hall of Famer under control for nearly a decade. I should have clarified. I was commenting more on his last 30 games split.
  12. If this is the yellitch we're going to get for the rest of this contract it's going to really hurt.
  13. This one is going to get ugly before it's over.
  14. Offense is going to need to step it up tonight to keep the streak going.
