I really don't like the idea of Williams facing Winker. This would be the perfect time to flip the script and have Hader in the game.

One of the things that make Shaw so inconsistent is way too many moving parts in the box. Big leg lift..feet coming in...hands going down..body dropping. Too much movement.

Shaw is now one for 22. Didn’t he just have another streak like that? Probably right before this one? Man does this offense need help. I feel like one of third or first absolutely has to be addressed this offseason with a real threat offensively. There are the bats out there to do just that too. He has played respectable defense and did provide some production early but at what point do you have to look somewhere else again.

Does anyone know what the percentage of major league at bats that reach a three ball count? I personally like the idea of moving the mound back a foot and changing and at bat to three balls or three strikes and force the pitcher to not nibble. -
Honest question. When the season's over will the Brewers be closer to first place or to last place in the division?

Just a dreadful performance by the plate umpire.

An umpire that was concerned about his performance would watch the tape of this game and immediately call and apologize to both teams.

They really need to see if Hader can be stretched back out to a three inning guy.

Goes well with the four bats they're short in the lineup.

4-4 this year when they give up 4 or 5 runs. 6+ they are 1-11 (if my counting is correct). I meant four or more.

The real surprise about the six no hitters so far is that the Brewers were not involved in any of them.

Amazing how giving up four runs is basically a guaranteed loss for this team
