I think this game is just about over.
-
Sorry Bill but that's definitely a wild pitch.

Nice analysis! I used to work a lot with young hitters ranging from middle school to college in most of the time when guys were struggling they were too many things moving around. Hitting a baseball is hard enough but trying to do it with your head moving up and down and side to side makes it even more challenging. I absolutely hate High leg lifts on front foot because if you misread the speed you're screwed and cannot get your foot on the ground quick enough.
-
Wish Shaw had less pre launch movement and less lift of his front foot. To many things moving around.
-
At least it wont be a DP.
-
he has spun up some tasty meatballs this half inning.
-
Got away with a fat one there.
-
Don't throw another pipe shot like that to Boty.
-
It gets annoying how they will never call intentionally leaning into a pitch. I feel like that's every couple games at this point. That is one case where with 95mph gas from Hader..Rizzo would might not have been so happy to stick his elbow into it.
-
It was damn near a strike.

Good win.....lots to like.

Yes. Gamel for Santana just another great stearns trade. Plus we got Zavolas, who is doing really well in Carolina. Davies-like repertoire, velocity maybe a tick or two higher. Just checked on Santanas stats. His hot start has him at .269 with 11 dingers but he is 11 for his last 63(.175). I think it just took AL pitchers a while to figure out how to pitch him(up and in).

Good lord.....what is it with less than two out tonight.
-
Some really awfull ABs with runners at 3rd and less than 2 outs tonight. Scherzer is part of that but the called third that Shaw just took was one big meatball slider right in his wheelhouse.
-
Scherzer is one tough Hombre.
-
I think it was 26 or 27 innings. I could be mistaken. I was working third shift at the time of that game and had it on in the maintenance shop listening to the last 15 Innings or so.
-
Since he got those dingers Arcia is standing the bat up at launch and is trying to lift everything. Pulling off everything right now. 2 for his last 13.
-
Maybe Braun just needs a week off every so often
-
Matz pitches much like Miley.
-
Chance to do some damage.

Really? Is that all you got?
