In their small sample size, RHP Enoli Paredes is probably a bit more impressive than RHP Kevin Herget, but Herget comes with 2 option years (vs. none for Paredes). They’ve both gotten off to strong starts at Nashville, with Herget throwing max 94.0, Paredes max 96.5.
I didn’t think they’d pull the trigger on this yet (Ashby option). They need starters for 26 games in 27 days. Janson Junk was mediocre last week and they said they want recently-claimed Vladimir Gutierrez to get a few starts in AAA, but the team will figure it out.
