Once those bases got loaded you had to pull Ashby there. At that point your are hoping and praying for a win instead of actually making a move that gives you a way better chance of winning. that just sucked. I don’t know if Ashby has earned any right to get out of anything. He’s crap awhile now.

What good is this if yelich is playing 70%. He doesn’t hit righties either. I get the concern with vaughns hand but his at bats are way more competitive than Yelichs no matter who’s pitching. id be fine with doing this if Vaughn was hitting 70% of time instead of Yelich

I would love to see Lara show that he can handle it every day and make frelick a 4th outfielder Plus Murphy can then use frelick to pinch hit for Vaughn when he comes up with the bases loaded over and over again

I call it the frank kaminsky rule. Every time I want to give up on a player I always tell myself “be patient, member what frank the tank became”. And then I think to myself how ridiculously unlikely that is thats the same as using the Corbin burnes analogy

The older I get the more I would rather the players get a week off than go to the all star game. Especially pitchers. When I was young I would have wanted to watch all the brewers play. now I’m just old and no fun. Turang can go get some rest
