I may be crazy but his swing reminds me of Bagwell. I couldn’t agree more. Jeff Bagwell has been the Hiura swing comp in my mind for the past couple of years. I wouldn’t be shocked if Hiura fills out even more from a strength perspective and has a similar body comp as well. It’s sometimes forgotten this is what Jeff Bagwell looked like at 22 years old... Brewers!!!!! When was the last time we won a series other than the pirates! I just got back from Dubuque. Missed the whole game I see the brewers relievers gave up 5 hits and 4 walks in three innings. We really need five new relievers. Maybe houser will help Everytime I see hiura boxscore daily that whole Shaw thing just aggravates me more Who the hell made the error in the ninth?

This is probably going to be too pessimistic for certain posters on this board but I'm not going believe they have turned a corner until they can show that this pitching staff can go through the rotation a couple of times at an acceptable level of performance. I need to see the consistency with the pitching. Say what you think. Don’t worry about this pessimistic optimistic crap that people are caught up in. It’s a load of nonsense. That’s what this board is for. People afraid to say what they honestly feel because they are worried about the fan police is boring. Any debate predicated on optimism/pessimism is useless. I literally could care less about how good a fan someone is. I just care about what’s going on in the field and have some fun with it Everyone on this board wants the brewers to win. Everyone.

I am more impressed with leading the NL in steals, than the HR count. NL is pretty empty on base stealers. Leading the league with a pace under 40 is kinda crazy. Plus a lot of baseball players are fat ass beer league softball players with beards. Those don’t win many stolen base titles

Hey. We win a salvage game. I couldn’t follow tonight until now and of course we ten run them. Woodruff is just a good pitcher. And sending Hijra down for Shaw was just the most asenine thing of the year. Brewers haven’t had a game like this in awhile.

I could care less about the media and players/coaches interactions. No one is going to give the media anything worthwhile. You usually have to take quotes with a grain of salt But for just this one time I don’t think it would be out of line for a reporter to ask counsell. “Why does your team suck? “Why do all the moves you make suck this year?” Usually that would be some jerk reporter baiting. But I think it’s actually a legitimate question I would love to see counsell. Get all pissy or actually answer the question. Either or but I wouldn’t mind seeing a meltdown. It’s kind of like when the significant other screams. “Hate me, yell at me, do something. Just show that you care”. Or whatever is read in that month’s Cosmopolitan

This playoff race was over awhile ago. I didn’t want to pee in everyone’s Cheerios But even the most “golly gee” and “welp” posters know they aren’t really good at all They have a good shot at being in last place. Not the playoffs The only thing holding this together was their close proximity to other bad teams. The cubs are going to blow way by us. I’m holding out hope that we finish ahead of the pirates this year It’s going to get ugly when we start playing good teams again. Ugly

Yep and same with the pitchers watching the leagues worst hitting team with RISP. They ain’t watching. They are out there around playing sunflower seeds waiting to try to get two or three outs which they inevitably can’t do

I actually would call Aguilar hot. At some point this was coming. He’s a pretty good hitter It does make perfect sense this year that both Aguilar and Thames would be hitting well at the same time. I guess it isn't a bad thing, but it would be nice to ride a hot hand instead of the straight platoon. I think Jesus is a better hitter than Thames but Thames is earning his at bats too
