  1. They don’t. They have disability insurance. But that’s beside the point. I understand the reality of it. Mine is just a fantasy but I also see the absurdity of the pitching profession in modern professional baseball. Every starter is just a glorified long reliever. Every bullpen has to be turned over by all star break. And what do you get for protecting these guys. Half of the season they don’t play. There really are no pitching stars anymore It’s just lame but luckily mlb has a stock of clones named Anderson or Alexander that just fill in for the 37 guys on the DL
  2. Do it on your own dime then. Get back to me when you can play to be fair to the players most teams are probably shutting everyone down and if they want to waste money that’s on them
  3. Agree. But it becomes my money when the front office complains that we can’t pay anybody while we have fifty dudes riding a bike at practice because their oblique can’t handle it if I could snap my fingers and change one thing, I would make guaranteed contracts illegal in mlb.
  4. I’m saying I’m past giving a crap. The amount of money people pay pitchers not to play is ridiculous at this point in mlb woodruff is exhibit A.
  5. The brewers have become a welfare plan for pitchers. It’s ridiculous. Pitchers need to start pitching. It’s literally in the name.
  6. Can you imagine this team with a Cecil cooper at first and Paul molitor at third
  7. Isn’t Colorado where we usually have a disaster series every year
  8. Never too early to scoreboard watch. Let’s make a move tonight
  9. It’s time for Hoskins Contreras yelich to start pulling their weight
  10. I like brewers hitting the ball. Scoring runs. So much more than not hitting the ball. Not scoring runs
  11. Hopefully this Patrick pans out this year. I have no faith in woodruff being a meaningful pitcher for us. The guy has been out forever. When does the definition change from having a contract to play baseball to just welfare for the woodruff family called the bahktiari law
  12. The brewers cannot afford to have a pitcher as bad as this Thomas guy. We have to rely on the relievers to not blow up and if it does at minimal amounts. We cannot have a reliever that gives up 5 runs every time he comes in
  13. Can you win games with the home run deficit we have. It’s kind of ridiculous
  14. Pitchers got to hold them down a couple of innings here. Give us a chance.
  15. I honestly don’t know one person who watches the nba. I firmly believe their tv ratings numbers have to be bots
  16. The whole woodruff situation is starting to piss me off
  17. The brewers haven’t really done anything exciting but fought back to .500 its time for the star players to show up
  18. Doing well against the non torpedo bats I see
  19. They actually played like a Major League Baseball team tonight. Hopefully that carries forward
  20. You could probably brought up Vanderbilt or univ of Tennessee roster and they would have done better these last four games
  21. This team sucks. We don’t even have 5 starting pitchers for the season 0-4 and counting.
  22. These bats are such BS. baseball just constantly cheats the game. It gets so tiring.
