    That’s the whole point. It’s not inconceivable to lose a bunch of games quickly in the standings. Heck the brewers aren’t even playing that bad and we lost 3.5 games in the standings The only sample size that matters right now is we are up 8.5

    Honestly. Who gives a crap if youre fearful or not fearful. That’s pretty much irrelevant. The cubs were 11.5 back a week ago. If we lose tonight then it’s 8. Teams can easily make up 3-4 games in a week. That’s definitely not a current pace I’d like to be on Just win tonight and if we have a lead maybe the relievers can hold it for us

    They are playing way better baseball and beating bad teams like they should. The problem is when they play a good/decent team they still kinda suck. I’d like to see. Some tougher teams on the schedule for them

    I would enjoy this team a little more if I knew they could hold a one run lead for 2-3 innings. Take some pressure off the offense to have to score late all the time.
