  1. Oh some of us give it to him. I've said ever since I joined, that i love watching him pitch when he is on. But i do agree, he is slightly looked over by most fans. "Davies is pitching tonight. I know alot of you guys could care less, but I am a big fan of watching Davies trying to perfect his craft with less than average fastball. When Davies can control all of his pitches, he is a treat to watch."
  2. Maybe CC feels it places to much pressure on the kid. How many games has he played in his career. 30? I’m just guessing. Ya, idk what it is..... Keston played yesterday. A Sunday game... jam packed. Hitting cleanup in a game you need to win, to win series. Seems like that would be 1 of his most pressure filled games to start in this short in his career. So why change that up vs the Diamondbacks on the road, lol. That all dont make sense, but I dont know what he is thinking either. I mean Craig is of the newer school managers, that uses analytics, along with Stearns. Do I just assume and trust they know what they are doing is what's the best for the team? I mean it seems so obvious, maybe they have more insight about the starter tonight than I do. Well obviously. Btw, I know you didnt say this was for sure it But I am a fool me once, fool me twice kinda person.
  3. Simple math would say Huira top 3 for sure, in lineup. It's really simple and obvious. But over think it. Go ahead. I guess Huira will get his walks tonight..so Arcia and Davies can drive him in. Why even pitch to him. If you dont have to. That's simple math guys...simple.... Now, as far as where to place Huira in the top 3, I'll leave that to the smarter people here.
  4. Exactly, I didnt see this post. I thought I was the only one mad about this. Why even pitch to Keston? Setting him up to not produce like he had been. Keston has been on par with Yelich for best hitter on team for 14 games. 1 less HR 4, same amount of Rbis, 1 less walk, 5 more hits...and Keston bat cleanup yesterday. So bat him 7th? Dumb move So what was yesterday the lineup ve lefties? Lol, that's the only way Keston can bat in the top 4?, pffftt
  5. I know I could look, but besides Pina/Grandal, is this the same lineup as yesterday or game 2 vs Braves? Why change what's been working. Why bat Huira 7th, that's just so dumb. ----------------- Ok so I looked. Huira bats cleanup yesterday day and 7th today. What does this kid have to do, haha. Craig needs to move and keep Grandal down a but further, he had been batting him 3rd now 4th. Yes Grandal has been great at drawing walks, but he hasn't been good or even average the past 13 14 games. Put Lorenzo in the lead off spot and kee him there. He has been hitting the ball harder latley. I think I'll die on that hill. If Cain cant keep hitting then we stent gonna make the playoffs anyway. He is the perfect, or has been for his entire career. Craig needs to get Aguilar more at bats. Aguilar had become fun to watch hit again. I hope this hot bat rides itself out to the post season l. But he needs more at bats. If Dubon isnt gonna get a ****, then Saladino once a week, at the most. I wish we had an insider as to why Orlando is in Craig's dog house. Wanna keep Braun fresh for the last month surge and post season so let him play 4 times a week. Then 3 times the next week. Than 4 times the week after. Or whatever, some kinda plan that makes sure he is ready for when we really need him. Davies is pitching tonight. I know alot of you guys could care less, but I am a bug fan of watching Davies trying to perfect his craft with less than average fastball. When Davies can control all of his pitches, he is a treat to watch. Anyone disagree with anything I said?
  6. Can I see your lineup again? What do you think about batting Grandal 4th, Grandals biggest strength right now is drawing walks...at best...even that had slipped. Why is he batting cleanup. Also what do you think about Huira batting 7th? Am I the only one who is mad about this? I dont get it..you play your best hitters higher up in the line up. So what now Arizona can IBB Huira to face Arcia? Lol, ok Craig
  7. I prefer he maintain to playing 4 times a week sometimes 3 and ramping it up the further we get. We will need him in the playoffs. And we will need him to be relatively healthy. And we need him to win.
  8. Grandal, OBP, OPS, average, everything have dropped the past 13 or 14 games. He has been slumping 7 for last 41. Huira had been on fire and he bats 7th...just stupid really stupid. Is Craig trying to show us all who is boss or what? What's his logic
  9. Been saying it for awhile along with many. Huira should ahead or behind Yelich. Thames 7th? Um...I would lead Thames off. I would do Thames--am really tempted to stick him in left and Aguilar at first Huira Yeli Moose Cain Braun Grandal Arcia Pitcher Or Cain-is hitting the ball harder and producing better Huira Yelich Moose-Needs to get in gear here. I can think of a couple other options batting 4th now, Moose needs to get going to remain here. Aguilar-He is hitting the other way with thump, might consider batting Jesus 4th, Jesus would split up the lefties and is just hitting better right now. Braun-we need to get this old man going for the playoffs, I wouldnt mind seeing Gamel start twice a week though Grandal-slumping just a bit Arcia-No more Saladino Pitcher Now that's a real shakeup and I dont know if that would be smart to do, considering the last two games. I would like to see ALOT more Aguilar, we need to ride his nat now. Put him 4th 5th at lowest point.
  10. I may be crazy but his swing reminds me of Bagwell. Maybe....Its hard to get Bagwells really low crouch out of my head and picture how compact his swing was. Bags, might of had, a more of an upper cut to his swing though. Not a bad comparison though.
  11. You know all of the sudden with Woodruff, Davies, and Anderson with the numbers they have, the rotation doesn't look so horrible. Even Houser has shown some flashes of success. It's the bullpen that has been really concerning. Agreed and I forgot about Houser. Ya, we desperately need a 7th, 8th inning guy. I hope we get someone who can help, and Stearns doesnt just sit back and hope that the people we have now improve...like Guerra, Albers, Jefress, maybe throw Burnes in there..we need a shut down guy. Not to say that the guys I mentioned havent had flashes of being good. But if we are just gonna rely on them...ya i dont think any Brewer fan would be happy about that.
  12. I think you meant the next 10.. 4 against Arizona, 3 against the Reds, 3 against the Flubs. Were are going 7 and 3 in the next ten and back to first place, BOOK IT
  13. I think Hader was a bit rusty and unlucky. I doubt the brewers would risk using him if he had a nagging injury.
  14. Back 2 back games with alot of heroes in them. The offense spread out, not just Yelich. Chase with a great outing. Man if we get keep Chase going and Davies continues pitching well, I like are 1 2 3, weather in that order or not LETS GO CHASE, keep pitching this way and you are gonna earn your self a spot in the rotation in playoffs.
  15. Heck ya, after last night it woulda been demoralizing if they didnt do what they did today. But they carried it over and I think are going to be back in first soon.
