    Yup...it was me who jinxed him and gave up the 2 HR's this inning.....oh yeah, it was me who walked the 4 batters and couldn't find the strike zone. Yup...sorry Doug....all my fault.

    I'm laughing....haha.....I'm sorry to say this to you Davis lovers but he is NO #2 pitcher in the major leagues. Sorry.

    Davis easily has the worst command of any pitcher I've ever seen in my life. It's as if he's scared to throw a strike. I would laugh if Piazza took him yard here. It'll stick it to him for walking 4 batters already in the third inning.

    BUT....they practice bunting "ALL THE TIME" as Manager Yost would say. It sure shows Ned....maybe "all the time" isn't good enough. Thanks Brady....no thanks to Doug....it would be 1-0 if he could execute a bunt.

    It's not that we're allergic to .500 ball....we're allergic to being one game under .500!!! How many games have we lost when we've been within 2 games of the break-even mark lately? It's gotta be a lot.

    Lousy effort tonight is right. Bottali(stink)o will get some work in and hopefully pitch his way off of this team. Who else wants to see them hang a 5 or 6 spot on Ricky like I do? That would be quite refreshing cause he is horrible. The defense tonight was as bad as I've seen all year and I am convinced this team is one of the worst defensive teams in all of baseball. Hall, Jenkins, Weeks all have been very bad defensively and the offense was terrible tonight too. We need one of these wake-up calls....lose to a horrible, last place team like the Reds will be good. Bring these guys back down to earth.

    See, I knew eventually Bobby would grow on people. He's a Wisconsin guy (with a thick accent) and you know he's a Brewers fan deep down. Sure, the guy does not have a Sportscenter-like delivery and he never will, but we should cut the man some slack.....He DID win the sausage race (he deserves some love for that).

    I think it is safe to say that while Doug Melvin has made many good moves, his worst thus far is signing Jenkins to such a terrible, long-term deal. He will set this team back a lot by this move alone as it eats up $8 million and more importantly, forces Ned to put this sad sack of money in RF to try and "get their money's worth" from this guy. Jenkins has proven that he simply cannot determine what a good pitch is and has no doubt shown me that he is a pure 'guess' hitter without a clue at the plate. Your corner OF's are supposed to provide the pop and RBI's for the team. Thankfully for C LEE one person is doing his job...as for Jenkins, he has to start to earn his money or else he will be the Wes Helms of Miller Park and be greeted with thundrous boos everytime his name is called.

    Brewers have a long season ahead. That's the bad news. The good news is.... we get to see Rickie Weeks?? Sorry, that's the best I could come up with.

    This series just proves who's the better team and the team that will win the division. They played several of these games without Edmonds and yesterday without Walker. We had our best 2 pitchers get L's. Not too many positives to draw from this series. The better team won. Plain and simple. That's why they will RUN AWAY with the division once again. They have guys who can get clutch hits...what do we have?

WIGGUM.....{Really, what's the point of posting on a BREWERS message board if you think the team has absolutely no hope.} Oh, is this board for people who have a clouded perception of reality? If so, maybe you're right, I shouldn't post here. Or maybe I'm just a fan who can see the downfalls of the team and isn't afraid to sound off when I want to step outside the box of illusions and see the truth. Wiggum says BREWERS ALL THE WAY....loser.

    Oh, you don't like the post....sorry. I didn't know we had a moderator who decided what was appropriate here or not as far as the "tone" of people's posts. The fact is the Brewers bats stink. Sorry, they do. I'm merely stating a fact. Until they prove me wrong (not this year, for sure) then I will retract my words.....but they stink. 3TO is a joke (people on here think he is the next coming of Scott Rolen. Carlos Lee is very overrated, and Mike Adams is no MAJOR LEAGUE closer. Until you wake up Wiggum, you can live in your fantasy dream world.

    For a guy who supposedly does not K too much, Lee really is hacking up there lately.

    When's the last time Hardy got a hit? I can't remember. He has absolutely NO pop. Whenever I see him, they're just slow ground outs. At least he doesn't K. That gives me some hope that he might end up being an adaquate (.250?) hitter some day. Not this year though, sorry.
