Two solo HRs for the Mets may very well be enough. So sad. We need to be able to score three runs on an average MLB pitcher like Thornton.

I paused the game & backed up to Pratt’s at bat. Murph had to think that he didn’t hustle out of the box. No way he was removed for not stretching it to two bases. He would have been out with a decent throw by a mediocre RF. I don’t appreciate or agree with such decisions. He’s too inconsistent in how he disciplines his players.

Murphy’s passive-aggressive decision will likely lead to a few base running errors by the young players in the next week. What a dope.
