Great article! If Urius is our primary 2B … Does this mean the Brewers see Turang (1) in AAA again this season, (2) as a MLB utility player in 2023, (3) as a SS in waiting should they not be able to re-sign Adames, (4) other? I’d love to see what we have in Turang. He’s proven himself at Nashville with a solid year & has nothing else to prove there. I hope there’s room for him on the big league club. I don’t like any of the other infield players at SS when Adames needs a day off.

What have you discovered? My search hasn’t been successful. I end up back here - frustrated by all the articles in the discussion forum.

Thank you. I appreciate Brock’s responses to my concerns. To your point, it is possible to respond & comment on the articles in the NEWS section. My initial post & topic thread addressed the redundancy issue - the articles being in both places (NEWS & BREWERS DISCUSSION forums). If it is okay to have articles in both places, why not this topic too?

I accept your decision - you make a good point In the same way my post belonged in another place, so too the articles belong in the NEWS forum - not the main discussion forum Be consistent

I’d still welcome a poll that excludes the writers of these articles And … I’m sorry to disappoint you with my post Seldom do I feel something so strongly I love the Brewers & appreciate the improvements you have brought to this site in the past year I simply “hate” the articles “cluttering up” the main discussion forum If there was another quality forum online, I would go there instead - there is not one so I toggle around an incessant list of mediocre articles to occasionally find a topic to read & potentially reply to I honestly can’t understand why you have the NEWS forum if you repeat the articles in the discussion forum - seems unnecessary to me

I have a journalism degree (40 years ago) & I sometimes fail to use correct punctuation (no period to end a sentence) 😊 -
I’m not a compromise sort of guy … I’m black or white, yes or no, right or wrong … there is a NEWS forum that is a great place to include the articles … they don’t belong on the main discussion board / forum … period

Me too … again, there is a NEWS tab where articles should exclusively reside … no need for even one of them to be placed in the main forum … completely unnecessary & redundant

So I’m not alone & my idea is not a new one I’d rather pay my Caretaker fee to read the forum without articles … I’d pay an additional fee to hide the articles on the main forum - the only thing on this site that interests me

I’m disappointed this topic was moved OFF the main FORUM … not a classy move … one of the few non-article topics relocated - not impressed … no one will see this topic now which may be the goal … a tad frustrating to say the least 🥴

I wonder if this would change if more people became Caretakers. I’m happy to pay $60 per year to support this site. That said, I would depart today if there was another quality online FORUM that was only discussion with no articles cluttering the feed. I’m here by default - no other options. I literally despise the articles in this forum.

This site was excellent for many years without the articles cluttering the FORUM section. I’m still hopeful for a poll - excluding the votes of those who write the articles.

The main reason this is accurate is because there are so many articles … I believe they could be commented on in the NEWS section too Keep the articles … just remove them from the FORUM thread

It’s lazy to have the duplication … If people want to read the articles - great! Click on the NEWS thread & read away. While articles may be read in the FORUM section, they are redundant … unnecessarily so.

I would propose that Brock Beauchamp & his team conduct a simple poll & ask: Should Articles be included in the Forum section? Yes or No I’d gladly accept whatever decision is made by the board.

Bummer … I was holding our hope Chafin may land in Milwaukee. I will cross my fingers & hope that Small can rebound from a terrible 2022 & lower his walks enough to add value as a LH reliever on the big league club. Maybe the FO likes what they see in Varland. -
I simply don’t understand why the articles (some good - most blah) have to be included here in the FORUMS section of the BrewerFanatic website. It truly makes no sense. All someone has to do to read these articles is click on the NEWS tab beside the FORUM tab. It is bothersome to have to scroll past tons of these redundant articles to find an actual topic to review that is related to current Brewers baseball. I miss the “old” forum … this is not a good change. Am I the only one who has this opinion?
