  1. It’s past time Hiura needs to be included in whatever trade we make … hopefully sooner than later Maybe a change of scenery trade will help both parties Hiura is a strikeout waiting to happen 2019 was a fluke - please move on
  2. A T-ball coach could determine that the best approach to beating the Brewers is to start lefties in every game Any MLB manager worthy of his position would scramble his roster to make sure a lefty is on the mound for six innings against the Brewers each game - call up minor leaguers, throw bullpen arms - just make sure he fires from the left side I’m not sure this team would win another 20 games this season if they faced a left-handed starter each night
  3. I like Hunter Renfroe more so than Avail Garcia & certainly more so than Jackie Bradley Jr Her just redeemed himself after a terrible base running blunder … Taylor has more speed than Renfroe so his blunder put Milwaukee in a better position to score
  4. Our only bench bats today against an All-Star lefty - Cain, Narvaez, Petersen - one righty who is hitting under .200 & two lefties The law of averages suggests that we are due to score several runs against a left-handed starter Hopefully, today is the day we “break out” & pound a top notch left-handed pitcher I was a tad disappointed that Turang wasn’t added to the 40-man roster & promoted We need a “new bat” … something or someone to get excited about
  5. I’m not a fan of 1-0 games … win or lose … just not much fun. I like offense - scoring runs … 4 or 5 a night would be ideal. Surely hope tonight isn’t “another” shutout loss.
  6. I’m on vacation … watching the game outdoors via MLB.com on my iPad from a resort in south Texas. Peralta is dealing. Hope we can get a few runs to make this more comfortable.
  7. There’s a good chance you can walk in & get great seats
  8. Is David Dahl worthy of an opportunity? LoCain is otherworldly defensively - even at 36 How capable is Dahl as a potential CF option? I’m still hopeful that Tyrone Taylor will warm up offensively too
  9. Done … after a brief “cool streak” - Yelich was back to his MVP-level days against the hapless Reds today What are the chances that all three of his cycles are against the same team (1 in 29 - but … amazing nonetheless)
  10. Is he the only remaining Brewers player under the Mendoza line?
  11. Yeli with an amazingly athletic catch … impressive
  12. You’re welcome … I / we appreciate the great Brew Crew coverage ??
  13. I was away from the TV for a few innings … what did LoCain do tonight that has everyone so flustered?
  14. Not sure where to post this so I will start here … As a lifelong Brewers fan, I have never been so pleased with the volume & quality of Brewers-related content as found here on this “new & improved” website. Thanks to Brock & his team! Truly well done. This is without question the best $60 investment I will make each year - subscribing to an ad-free BrewerFanatic. I encourage all regular users to contribute to the cause. I’m here for the forums - but I love the daily minor league game summaries too. There is actually more content than I have time to read - a good problem! My undergraduate degree was in journalism - I was a high school & college newspaper editor. Most everyone who knew me in my teen years assumed I would be a sportswriter - but my life went a different direction in college. I’ve been in vocational ministry (as a pastor) for nearly 40 years. Today, I “coach” pastors & churches (https://edfunderburk.cc) all over the nation. My first love, however, was sports journalism. All that to say - I appreciate the excellence with which our BrewerFanatic colleagues do their work. Coupled with a few podcasts (Brewers Unfiltered & Locked on Brewers) & my subscription to the Milwaukee Sentinel-Journal (MSJ), I have everything I need to enjoy my beloved Milwaukee Brewers! I don’t take these things for granted & want to express my appreciation.
  15. Christian Yelich with a two-run single in the 6th against the Braves … 103.9 mph off the bat, … that’s TEN straight batted balls of 100 mph or higher
  16. I would be okay with Small & Mitchell … huge losses from the prospect list but Mullins is a proven & young quality CF
  17. Mullins would be ideal … what would he cost? 2 or 3 top 10 prospects? I loved seeing him hustle to prevent the double play & get us a lead run! ??
  18. I hope Cain makes my previous post look foolish … big hit here would be nice!
  19. We need some youth & athleticism out there … McCutcheon is past his prime defensively … Yelich is adequate at best defensively Not sure if help comes from Nashville or from a trade - but we need to add a stud in the OF … preferably in CF
