  1. My sentiments exactly So glad I’m not the only one willing to acknowledge & admit the obvious I don’t desire to be “Debbie Downer” but I’m a tad irritated by those who continue to spin this mediocre team with extreme positivity 10 games in with only one solid game in all three phases may be more than a “slow start” or “slump” It might be time to accept that Milwaukee is an average team - great starting pitching (that has yet to get it going) with a poor offense & below average defense
  2. My eyes say Yelich is not anywhere close to being a good hitter in the first 10 games of 2022 He has a few solid knocks, but he seems content to hold the bat & take a walk … he appears timid to me Nothing about his swing should cause fear for the opposing pitcher Yelich is still elite on the bases! I hope he & other Brewers bats wake up soon & pound the ball Hopefully, we have a 10 game stretch soon where we hit the ball well & score runs to offset this early season team slump
  3. Whew … 5-5 after 10 games … lucky or good? Either way - we could easily be 3-7 so I’ll take it regardless Today, Tellez & Taylor had solid, timely hits in key at bats - well done Is it greedy to expect more? Do other teams have 3 or 4 such hits each game? It’s been so long since the Brewers hit the ball well - I’m not sure what is to be expected anymore
  4. Where can I find this option … I would love to hear Ueck on play by play while watching game
  5. Might be good to swap Williams & Gott until Devin gets his early season issues resolved 10 games into new season - one solid game with all three phases (pitching, hitting, fielding) performing well I hope we have a drama-free, easy-win at some point soon These early season games put me in a bad mood for 3-4 hours each day I’m ready for the Packers draft … anything to get my attention off the Brewers for a few days
  6. One can only dream … but I can’t imagine the Yankees would do that deal Yelich is such a “good guy” - but I would make this trade in a heartbeat Maybe a change of scenery would benefit each player
  7. Okay … I will adjust my view to their offense is horrid “right now” & hopefully will improve BTW - just for fun, early this morning, I looked at stats for Garcia & Bradley in comparison to Renfroe … oddly enough, Renfroe was hitting .212, Garcia .202, & Bradley .190 to start the day
  8. Assuming they repeat last year’s pitching stats, you are correct. I’m concerned about their middle relief. I believe their starters will (eventually) be fine. Their offense, however, is horrid & only a trade will resolve their incompetence.
  9. One solid hit by Tellez … walks, HBP … not really an offensive outburst, but maybe the best this team has to offer
  10. Brewers at best a 75 win team … I’m so glad they don’t play on 4/21 (my 61st birthday) … I can’t not watch (intentional double negative to any grammarians) … this team is so frustrating & so disappointing … I’ve only enjoyed one game this season - the 5-1 victory on 4/14 Day
  11. I love the Brewers Our offense is horrible This is going to be a long year Nine games - only one was enjoyable This offense is not fun to watch I was so excited about the new season September 2021 - Playoffs - April 2022 … unbearable
  12. Well … this one is over No way the Brewers rally to overcome a 4-0 deficit against this team And - yes - I hope this post ages poorly I really wanted to watch a good game tonight - what a disaster
  13. Rats … another poor start … why can’t our starters “start” with goose eggs in the first inning? That may work against the Cubs & Orioles - it won’t end well against a strong offensive team like STL. Get it together, Brewers!
  14. Home opener WIN in the books Woody looked great today - in spite of not getting calls that Wainwright got Peralta throws tomorrow - hopefully another win over the hated Cards
  15. Here’s hoping tonight is the Brewers break out game - I’d love to see an offensive explosion … maybe a 10-spot + some strong defense & pitching to even their record before hosting the hated Cardinals tomorrow at home Stars of the game - Burnes, Huira, & Taylor … + Brousseau
  16. I will love the Brewers forever & always That said - they are not a good team Their offense is horrible - not bad, not cold - horrible What a joke to repeat what didn’t work last year - unbelievable Even the double yesterday by Yelich was luck - swung late - certainly didn’t strike the ball solidly This could be a challenging year if our pitching is not otherworldly I have no confidence in our bats
  17. My exact thoughts … even with this sixth inning rally
  18. Not yet … Save this post for the end of the game
  19. I’d like to thank you now Please stick around for a while
  20. No thank you I prefer to express my frustration Your positivity doesn’t change the fact that Milwaukee looks unprepared to start the season At what point is it acceptable to be disappointed?
  21. Good grief The Cubs are horrible Milwaukee has been terrible since early September of last year Whats going on? All three of our aces have looked pathetic to start the new season And don’t even get me started on our offense It seems like we could accidentally have at least one decent game against such an inferior opponent I can’t believe I waited all off-season … including the lockout … to watch this team perform so poorly Get a clue Brewers
  22. Here’s hoping that Yeli has a great game & removes the concerns I’ve had with him remaining in the three-hole despite his poor production for the last few years I like the adjusted lineup against lefties - would love to see Huira get off to a strong start in the new year I also love giving Taylor a start - I believe he will be their best hitter this year … assuming he gets enough ABs
