  1. He could very well break Counsell’s record for inept at bats
  2. I’ve always wondered … does that make losing easier?
  3. I’m so tired of bad baseball This is not a good team Time to ditch Buck Rodgers & hire Harvey Kuenn (And Rickie Weeks is not Harvey Kuenn)
  4. Ortiz could have grounded out. Now we get to watch Capra with the bat. Another odd decision by our skipper.
  5. I love math … since I was a kid, I started breaking the 162 game season into six segments … 27, 54, 81, 108, 135, & 162 Tonight, we risk being under .500 after the first segment I’m sure we will get hot at some point & have a good segment or two It is unlikely that the Brewers make the playoffs unless they win the NL Central There are several quality if not elite NL teams that may be more capable of occupying the wild cards
  6. There certainly may be such a team I can’t imagine that this team - even with a few arms returning soon - will make or advance in the playoffs against some of the NL elite teams Our offense, defense, & pitching … along with Murphy making consistently bad in game decisions … have all performed at a mediocre level Like everyone else contributing to these in game threads - I hope I’m wrong & we go wild & win 100 games in route to the World Series … but they looked much better in 2024
  7. At least he’s pitching I can’t believe Milwaukee took back Cortes only to have him experience a repeat of the same injury he had late last season Hopefully Durbin becomes a solid contributor for the Brewers I’m not all that surprised by Williams struggling in New York
  8. And if you recall … the 2023 Brewers team was often challenging to watch … it was often ugly baseball … eerily similar to the 2025 season thus far At 64, as a lifetime baseball & Brewers fan, I’m well aware that the season is long … I’m also aware when the team doesn’t look good & unfortunately, that is the case so far this season Seldom in 2024 did the Brewers look like they’ve looked this season
  9. another dumb move in a series of dumb moves this season
  10. I’m envious of anyone who has such a positive outlook … especially after watching the Brewers play this season
  11. Murphy is all personality … he’s brutal in his decision-making
  12. Good grief … Murphy needs to go on the IL … he’s not making sensible “in game” decisions - especially with pitchers 🤢
  13. So glad to have the NFL Draft to watch tonight as a distraction to keep me from spending time on the underperforming Brewers & disappointing Bucks
  14. I’ll pay for your flight to DFW if you want to give it the “old college try” I think you are a “tough guy” with your thumbs on a keyboard And for what it’s worth - work on your grammar
  15. We’re not good enough for Murphy to “mis”manage pitching changes & lineup substitutions Today was nearly as disappointing as the ninth inning meltdown in Arizona
  16. Did we trade for Capra? I thought he signed after a DFA. I’m on board with him being released. We need someone else to occupy the bottom of the roster “utility” role.
  17. Perfect analysis … this would be acceptable in Nashville (AAA) - but not in Milwaukee (MLB)
  18. It’s early, but the 2025 Brewers are giving games away like candy at Halloween. What do they do well & consistently? So far, they have been difficult to watch daily with very few exceptions.
  19. Dude implies friendship … I don’t know you, but it is likely you wouldn’t be so brave to my face Defend Murphy if you want … he does not make good “in game” decisions often Murphy is likeable, a good interview, understands team chemistry, knows far more about baseball than I do (or any of us do) … but he consistently makes goofball decisions during games
  20. That phrase is appropriate for both this game & the season with Murphy making repeated poor“in game”decisions
  21. Murphy is not a good game manager … he consistently makes goofy decisions
  22. Game 26 of 162 & I’m already tired of watching this team Looks like another ugly loss is coming after missing opportunities to score once again I fear this is at best an “average” team … on pace for 81-81 … feels about right for the collective group of “adequate” players
