  1. Remind him of what a great in-game manager we have … maybe he will be in awe & give us a few calls
  2. Not sure he will make the playoff roster Good guy … better players available
  3. The Brewers have the best record in baseball
  4. Whatever … I mostly like your posts, but you’re just being an a#*
  5. I agree with where you have Misiorowski slotted
  6. I understand … but that someone is not Miz … in my opinion based on his recent outings
  7. An earlier post suggested that Miz would be our third starter if Woody can’t pitch in playoffs
  8. Thank you … I saw the interview … I was asking about a specific sentence or statement from Woody that suggests year ending injury
  9. No to Miz … even if Woody is out for the season
  10. Can you please post what you heard that leads to this assumption? That is frightening to hear.
  11. Strong bench today: Yelich, Frelick, Turang, Bauers, & Contreras
  12. How bizarre … I guess Zimmermann & Fette will get starts this week … surely hope we get the NL 1 Seed with this approach … seems risky to me
  13. It makes sense that Quero would get the call over Haase if needed for Contreras since Quero is on the 40-man roster & Haase is not. Who is our “emergency” catcher if Jansen needs to exit the game? Hopefully, it is not Contreras. He needs a few days to get past the swelling & pain.
  14. Phillies lose … they are 3 games + tiebreaker behind Brewers for one seed with 7 games remaining
  15. I assume better defense late with the lead
  16. Pyrrhic" is an adjective meaning achieved at too great a cost, or so costly it negates the benefits, most often used in the phrase "Pyrrhic victory" to describe a triumph that ultimately brings ruin to the victor. The term originates from King Pyrrhus of Epirus, whose victories against the Romans at the Battles of Heraclea and Asculumwere devastating, costing him so many troops that he famously said another such victory would "utterly undo him".
