  1. But what about this past week? 😏
  2. Cortes looks like a quality starter - he should balance out the up & down Peralta
  3. Bitonti just smoked a line drive off the RF wall against the Rockies starter ⚾️ I like this kid 💪
  4. Funny quote from today’s Athletic Wind Up by Levi Weaver … Over the last few years, the Brewers have shed parts like a poorly maintained 1965 Pinto doing 90 mph. But she’s still running — the Brewers have won the division three out of the last four seasons. I wasn’t aware the Pinto existed in 1965 … but I get his point. I still believe the Brewers pull another rabbit out of their hat & win a mediocre NL Central with 90-72 record.
  5. 10 earned runs allowed in 3.1 innings in the final tune up before Opening Day after an up & down 2024 season … Why worry?
  6. Bummer … he was red hot this Spring
  7. McKendry looked Peralta-like … he was horrible 😏
  8. 90-72 NL Central Champs
  9. For whatever reason - I’m actually rooting for the A’s this season to play well They have a fairly good team in a difficult division It will be fun to watch MLB games in minor league parks this season
  10. I don’t believe anyone is interested 😏
  11. Thank you I didn’t see much there that appealed to me Maybe Brandon Drury - but I believe he will make the White Sox
  12. I wonder if we might pick up a player on waivers or cut down for the last roster spot. Who might be available - even if it involves a trade?
  13. I much prefer Collins Margot is washed
  14. I’m old school - no metrics … I just watch the games & share my opinions Based on what I saw last year, Bauers was superior to Hoskins at 1B & I anticipate he is better than a 36-year old Canha who is close to the end of his mLB career I reserve the right to be wrong!
  15. I understand your perspective for sure - but Black showed very little in Spring Training Yesterday’s game winning homer was his only contribution to date I love his speed & would be thrilled if he becomes a quality player He was impressive in the minors - not sure he will get a chance in Milwaukee
  16. I prefer Bauers … younger, better defensively
  17. I don’t use Roku - only AppleTV My provider is DirecTV stream Not sure how to watch JABO with my current setup
  18. And another reminder that the Cubs are a last place team
  19. Beautiful … Cubbies are 0-2 & a long trip back to face Arizona
  20. So many injuries … starting pitching has really been impacted I prefer Patrick over any of the other arms for the temporary fifth spot I may be alone - but I prefer Bauers over Canha as the backup 1B & fifth OF I don’t think Black or Durbin make the team to start the season - Durbin’s defense at 3B needs work … Black’s defense in general needs work & he’s missed another opportunity to impress with his bat this Spring Capra does make the team because he has no options Monasterio may sneak into the final bench spot I do not want to see Margot at any point in 2025 - I hope he has an out clause & exercises it quickly
  21. I’m excited about several Brewers prospects, but I’m not (yet) on the Misiorowski hype train. I want to believe but he’s not been impressive in the games I’ve watched this Spring as well as a few last year. Yes, he can throw 100 MPH & apparently has a great change up - unfortunately, he has Derrick Turnbow control. I’m not convinced (yet) that he will be as good as projected. I understand he is young & there is plenty of time for him to improve. I don’t see starting pitcher in him (yet). I also don’t anticipate him “helping” Milwaukee until next year - assuming he gains some level of control. Walks, HBP, general wildness is not MLB quality pitching.
  22. I’m saving this picture & will likely use it quite often during the 2025 season 🙌🏼
  23. Cubs lose 4-1 to Dodgers in Japan All is right in the world Chicago is in last place in the NL Central What a great way to start the day!
  24. It seems three of our top eight starters (Hall, Ashby, & now Myers) have all been sidelined this Spring with similar oblique injuries. This seems odd to me. Historically, has this been a problem with our pitching staff? Are other teams dealing with similar oblique issues?
  25. I like Quintana as the veteran, experienced arm more so than Miley or Rea I’m not sure any team has as much pitching depth as Milwaukee Several teams have greater talent … but no one has as many quality MLB pitchers as the Brewers
