The calm before the storm? Too busy working on deals to text "insiders"?

At the 9:40 mark on Chris Rose Rotation this morning with Trevor Plouffe, talking about Eduardo trade, Plouffe mentions he heard the Brewers are in on the "bigger names", but fails to elaborate on it, so it can and is probably just noise. Says they were in on Gallo. Though this is now multiple times he's brought it up.

Mark Feinsand stating pretty much the obvious in regards to the relief market:
-
According to JP Morosi, Scherzer trade talk is intensifying with good chance to be finalized by tonight
-
According to Heyman: If he's correct it won't be too cost prohibitive to acquire a bat or 2 to lengthen the bench/pair up with Rowdy at 1st.

Sounds like Turner was removed because of injury, not traded

2021 Draft Pick Discussion, Rounds 1-10
Jastro replied to Eye Black's topic in MLB Draft & International Signings
Well according to this CBS article, the deadline to sign draftees is August 1st. So they potentially could get a month of experience under their belts, I would assume. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/mlb-draft-2021-why-most-first-round-picks-will-sign-and-other-signability-questions-answered/ -
What has better odds Keston hitting a deGrom fastball in the upper half or someone on here winning the Powerball?
-
I was curious myself, so I looked it up, appears to be only 7 teams getting the inaugural treatment, (Cubs, White Sox, Marlins, Giants, D-Backs, Red Sox, and the Dodgers. https://news.nike.com/news/nike-mlb-city-connect-series-2021-22

Kevin Kramer acquired from Pirates for Nathan Kirby
Jastro replied to brewmann04's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Didn't realize how bad he has been. Just recognized the name. Probably a replacement for Hernan and Jamie Westbrook while he's in the Olympics. -

Early season trade action
-
I'm sure his time is coming, but with the IL being as extensive as it is. And Keston having an option available. He gets a passed right now. But once Derek Fisher gets healthy, I bet Derek slides into Billy's role of 5th OF while Billy takes over Dan's role, with more versatility

5-1 road trip, not too shabby

What are the odds that Lindblom gets dfa'd or gets a phantom injury after today's outing and Zimmermann takes his spot as a long man? Can't be any worse

On the ballpark app, **in the team page, you should be able to scroll down to the bottom, and there should be a "Membership & Employee Access" prompt, press that and that should get you to your SSH info. At least for me it did.
