    I continue to absolutely not understand why MLB catchers and relievers insist on challenging Rhys with high heat? Do they understand tendencies and heat maps? Just silly choices. Anything but high heat in a pitcher's count.

    Now that he's comfortable and relatively adapted? Absolutely. Obviously, it's baseball, so it's not going to happen every time. BUT, he showed (very early, mind you) he is made for big moments.     Yeah. We're going to trade Barrios for Civale and because he gives up 5 runs (in a game which he was screwed of outs) and some long balls we're going to DFA him. Come on now, folks.

    He's in the 80's. In a 2-2 count. Already struck the batter out. It was a bad pitch. BUT, it was pretty dang clear Zastryzny is warming up to face the lefty. It is still a game of match-ups.

    Uncanny how many calls have gone against the Crew this season. Uncanny. AND, even though he blew the strikeout call...that was a terrible pitch in that count.

    This just in: Cooper Pratt rocked his 3rd HR of his season against a very very good LHP in 19-year-old Alex Clemmey. 2-0 Muddies in the 2nd inning of Game 2. BOOM:

    Muddies pull it out 4-3. Tip of the cap to RHP Dikember Sanchez who has been absolutely fantastic since his call-up. And, to think it all started with a very shaky inning but an absurdly athletic tag out by Sanchez at homeplate back on June 20th @ Columbia. He now has 8 consecutive relief appearances since his ACL call-up.

    Ahhhh, yes, the ol' casual 9-run 2nd inning for the Shuckers bats. No big deal.

    The Crew just put up a 5-spot in the 2nd and may still be up to bat. The highlight being Adamczewski's two out three-run HR jack (his 2nd long ball of rhe summer). What a season he's putting together in the desert! 5-3 Crew.

    Cargo hit another HR tonight. He must be eating more spinach over the past couple of weeks. EMJ went yard as well. Shuckers lead Montgomery 5-3.
