  1. 1. MLF and Bisaccia should've known what the plan was before the drive even started. Discuss what McManus's field goal range was. 2. Not saying you are, but I can't put blame on Valentine for giving up the reception to set up the game winning field goal. He was put in a position to fail.
  2. Another thing that irks me about MLF yesterday was, what was the plan going into that game? Was it to win the game and a chance at the #6 seed or was it to rest starters and get ready for the playoffs, because it looked like he was straddling both sides of the fence and the team's performance showed it. I'd like to hear more than just "I want to look sharp."
  3. This pretty much sums it up.
  4. Minnesota's red zone offense is horrendous.
  5. He's making Detroit's injury ravaged defense look like the 2000 Ravens. Should be 14-7 right now.
  6. Eagles game Sunday at 3:30.
  7. This is being discussed in the game thread but I'll state what I said there. It's very possible MLF has hit his ceiling as a head coach, meaning above average but not someone who will get you to the Super Bowl. I certainly don't think he should be fired at this point, but there needs to be discussions behind closed doors on what needs to improve to take the next step in 2025, including the coaching. I'd have to believe MLF's seat is a little warm going into next year.
  8. Nagler stated that he should've called a time out on third down and call a play that would ice the game away. I'm not sure I would agree with that since there are no guarantees but it's certainly not as egregious as what he ended up doing. Then again, calling a vanilla run up the gut and take a two yard loss wasn't exactly genius either.
  9. It depends on who else loses next week as well. Anywhere from 19-24. Probably closer to 24. Not that it matters much anyway considering out first round draft pick history.
  10. Fair enough. Maybe it was a mistake to give Love that huge contract after only a half season of great ball. That's one of the cons of grooming a quarterback for three years. Willis is a fine backup but that's all he is, a backup. Wins over The Colts and a Titans team that now holds the #1 pick in the draft shouldn't change that.
  11. He definitely hit the over on the "That's on me" quotes. I'm starting to think that maybe he's hit his ceiling as a head coach. Above average but not someone that will take you to the top.
  12. Are you saying if Love and Jacobs play the whole game we still lose? Because that's a pretty bold statement. I can't know MLF's mindset going into this game. And by the way he coached this game, I'm not sure he knew either.
  13. We are a fingertip away from being 0-6 against our division. Let that sink in.
  14. And just like that, the Browns can him.
  15. I assumed since we were playing for seeding we would be playing our starters the whole game. That didn't happen. If we do, they do win.
  16. Yeah, that's wat you want to do in that situation. Give the Bears a free 15 yards.
  17. Whatever happens, McManus has been a godsend.
  18. I heard time out and assumed it was the Bears that called it. WTH, LeFleur?
  19. And MLF will screw it up with vanilla play calling.
  20. The sad part is he's the best ST coach we've had in the last 20 years or so.
  21. The defense needs to force a turnover to have any chance to win. Preferably a pick six.
