  1. I'm beginning to think Jenkins is pretty valuable to this offense.
  2. It really is a miracle that this is only a 10-0 game.
  3. It's amazing how coaches treat time outs like gold when they should use them but have no problem giving them away two minutes into a half.
  4. Yes, they have turning blowouts into one score losses down to a science.
  5. This game will be over before halftime.
  6. Should I just shut off the game now?
  7. There's a significant gap between the AFC's big 3 and the rest of the conference so no surprise. I'd expect the NFC's big three to do the same.
  8. LOL Denver scores on the opening drive of the game, bringing out all the Sean Payton sycophant talking heads calling for his induction into Canton, and have done jack squat ever since against a mediocre Buffalo defense. I don't think they've even picked up a first down in a non two minute offense. I'm sure these garbage time stats will make it look better though.
  9. But can he get himself past the last couple losses?
  10. Yeah, I would say that. They need to blow the whole thing up and rebuild, but I don't know where they're going to get their quarterback. Right now, Justin Fields is their best option. Russ is washed up, the quarterback draft class is weak, and only journeymen are available in free agency. Tanking next season seems the only route to go and get a high draft pick, or they could pull a Hershel Walker and trade Watt for a bunch of draft capital, but I still think he is a player you can build around. Whether he is down with a rebuild though is a different matter.
  11. Not even close. The Browns don't underachieve, they've just sucked since the 90s. You may call them cursed (The Drive, The Fumble) but even that might be a stretch since they were dominant during the Otto Graham years.
  12. Live look in on the Pittsburgh Steelers season.
  13. It dates all the way back to the Air Coryell days of the 70s and 80s. They really should have played in multiple Super Bowls and instead suffered home loss after home loss. Justin Herbert is Dan Fouts 2.0. Puts up gaudy numbers in the regular season and wilts in the biggest games. And don't forget the 2006 team that was one and done as a #1 seed.
  14. Is there another professional sports team that historically underachieves more than the Chargers?
  15. I know his offensive line is doing him no favors but stop calling Justin Herbert elite.
  16. Barkley cost a ton to get for Philly and still traded for Brown and gave him a fat extension. Teams can make it work. It's time to put the cap restrictions excuse to bed. The Packers have a dearth of high end talent to compete with the elite teams. Jacobs, possibly McKinney and that's it. They need a receiver to compliment the run game. An elite pass rusher will also help in the secondary. At least get one of those guys.
  17. He's certainly a possibility because he can stretch the field with his speed, but I have concerns about his character. A one or two year deal we could live with, I guess. Bring back Davante or maybe a get Tee Higgins. If there's a stud receiver in the draft, do what it takes to get him. If the Eagles can bring in studs like Barkley and A. J. Brown, why can't we?
  18. No, I expect Gute and Murphy to have a conversation with MLF and the coaching staff and make it clear that just making the playoffs is not the standard in Green Bay, it's Super Bowls, and things need to improve to get to where they want to go. MLF needs to improve his in game decision making. Special teams needs to improve. Hafley needs to ask himself if certain coverages in certain situations are things that Barry would do and if the answer is yes, don't do them. Gute also has to improve in bringing in the talent necessary to seriously contend for Super Bowls, and to start hitting on his first round draft picks. There's only so much draft and develop you can do. You can only be the youngest team in football for so long. Get that stud pass rusher like a Myles Garrett. Get that stud #1 receiver like Davante or a Tee Higgens or a Tyreek Hill. Everyone needs to improve.
  19. I think we all knew it was an ACL, but seeing "additional damage" is really devastating. I don't believe he will even play at all next season. I feel bad for him. He strikes me as a good kid who does all the right things, but he just can't stay healthy. All the more reason to find that legit #1 receiver for next season and beyond. Gute has to find a needle mover there and at pass rusher.
  20. There's been several times this season where I thought Barry was still DC. That's another discussion that needs to take place in end of year interviews as far as coaching goes.
