  1. A couple of convincing wins over inferior teams will help some, but they'll have to win at least four of their final five to get a top 4 seed. A deep run in the conference tournament would be nice too.
  2. From Demovsky's column on espn.com; There are strong indications that Jaire Alexander's time with the Packers will end without him playing another down. Multiple team sources have privately expressed their frustration with Alexander's inability to stay healthy and/or play through injuries.
  3. I don't want Canada as our 51st state until they learn to play hockey.
  4. Anyone else still think we should pass on Garrett?
  5. Not exactly perfect. Favre was only a Jet for one year.
  6. Not a good time to go into a slump.
  7. They're not making a run. It most likely will be a first round exit no matter how many trades they make.
  8. Sterling Sharpe finally will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame!
  9. Yeah, it's starting to go downward a bit now. A couple of tough opponents but you have to win at least one of those.
  10. Mason Crosby officially retires from the NFL. Thanks for 16 great years. (Well, 15 anyway) But it sure was great to have that kind of stability at the kicker position. Here's hoping we can have McManus for another few years.
  11. Given that our last three first round picks were Morgan, Van Ness, and Walker, would giving up three firsts really be that big a deal? I would only offer two at the most, but since Gute makes his hay in the later rounds, I wouldn't be too upset about three. I don't really understand why some are so afraid of the price tag. It seems some would rather spend the money on keeping guys like Tom. It's time to make a splash and go all in, and if Gute is really serious about urgency, then he should put out a serious offer. I wonder how many people here were against Ron Wolf bringing in Reggie White because it would cost too much. You can't stay the youngest team in the NFL forever. Otherwise we can look forward to never seeing a deep playoff run.
  12. Liam Coen hired Packers linebackers coach/run game coordinator Anthony Campanile to be the team's defensive coordinator. "Anthony Campanile represents exactly what we want to be as a defensive unit and football team," Coen said in a statement Thursday. "He brings an aggressive defensive mindset and a system that is adaptable to our players and allows them to play fast and physical."
  13. Then you're not going to like this one bit. Yes, the guy who couldn't communicate with MLF on whether to kick the field goal or go for it against the Bears is going to be his game management advisor.
  14. Looks like Rich Bisaccia isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Not excited about Getsy either. Report: Packers extend Rich Bisaccia, hire Luke Getsy
  15. KC with the six minute scoring drive to win the game. Bet me.
  16. Can't let the Chrefs lose this game, eh refs?
  17. But Allen had the yardage.
  18. Buffalo really sucks sneaking the ball.
  19. It's one thing to reach the ball over the goal line, but it's pretty risky to do that at midfield. Buffalo is lucky to still have the ball.
  20. It's easy to look back in hindsight now, but no team would elect to kick a PAT over going for two at the one yard line.
  21. Romo did a great job pointing out how KC scouted how Allen likes to sneak to the left. That's the second time they've stopped it. Buffalo should probably run the offense through Cook from here on out.
  22. Yeah, I agree with all of this. It was by far the most pathetic special teams effort I've ever seen in a football game, and it's not just because of the blocked punt. A handful of things were awful that game that somehow I don't remember, probably because I've subconsciously erased them from my mind.
  23. If the special teams had even played at a mediocre level that game, we win by two scores.
  24. I thought Cook was destined for a 5 yard loss there. What a run.
  25. Don't let the officials in KC know you can just give points to a team.
