  1. Incredible we haven't played against Lamar yet. Fortunate considering his W-L record against the NFC.
  2. The Lions are about to return to laughingstock status pretty quickly.
  3. The same thing happened in 2022 in Rodgers last game as a Packer. The Lions were eliminated earlier in the day but still played to win and did. Granted. it was to eliminate the Packers from playoff contention and the Bears have already clinched a playoff berth, but you're both right that Campbell is way too competitive to mail in. And maybe he would absolutely love to knock the Bears to the #7 seed.
  4. "Next, on the Packers Football Channel, and all new "Ow, My Balls!"
  5. I can say that. People love to say that this butterfly effect is exact science when it's not. A first quarter field goal will change next to nothing if anything at all.
  6. Yep, turns out the Lions would've won it with a walk off field goal.
  7. No because the Bears will lose to the Niners next week.
  8. The NFL is drunk this week.
  9. Also ironically, now that the Steelers have finished this thing off in weird, wild fashion, we'll be one victory over the Ravens of clinching a playoff berth for both us and Rodgers whether people like it or not.
  10. Packers to monitor Love (concussion), Willis (shoulder) - ESPN Not ideal. I would expect Willis to gut it out though if Love doesn't clear protocol.
  11. Gainwell channeling his inner Antonio Freeman.
  12. So DK Metcalf is getting suspended at least one game.
  13. This team with "mediocre talent" would be at worst 13-2 and have the best record in football if they had any type of competent special teams play, or at the very least, coaches that would not activate a kicker battling injury three weeks in a row.
  14. Dan Campbell goes for it on 4th and goal on their opening possession and fails. Let's see how this plays out.
  15. With his concussion history? No. The onside kick is the most collision play in football. You saw him. He didn't want any part of recovering that ball, and the coaches should not put him in that position.
  16. What has happened to McKinney this year? Last year he was All Pro. This year you only hear his name when he's dropping an interception.
  17. But look at the overall execution of the play. It was poorly blocked as well, almost as if they weren't even prepared. That's 100% on the coach. Yeah, Doubs should've come up with the ball if he's going to be out there, which he shouldn't, and we can debate why he is even on the hands team to begin with, but Bissicia is hardly blameless in this. Melton and McKinney looked like they had no clue of what to do. It's absolutely embarrassing how our special teams have been so bad for so long, and there's never any accountability. We're talking decades here.
  18. Anything less than an Eli Manning led Giants team like playoff run should be enough.
  19. Fair enough. I don't blame you for feeling that way. I'm just not going to root for them to lose though just because of their recent history to break your heart when it matters most.
  20. I agree with most of what you've said today but two weeks ago and for the first 58 minutes last night we proved we are a better team than the Bears and I would not be afraid to play them again in a few weeks. They've just got to get out of their own way and finish off games they have no business losing. Unfortunately, that's been a problem all season and if that's how the season ends again, a change needs to be made at head coach. I even believe we can win the division still, given the schedule for both teams.
  21. Was anyone calling any Bears player the best at their position last year? You're assuming our players have already peaked. It's a coaching issue and it needs to be addressed, barring an Eli Manning led Giants team playoff run.
  22. There's no doubt in my mind this team is better than the Bears, as I think they are a fraudulent team like they were in 2001 and 2010 and will be one and done in the playoffs, but the difference in why these two teams are in the positions they are in is the Bears find ways to win and the Packers find ways to lose, and it's just so infuriating. This team is capable of more than what they're showing, and they just can't help themselves and just can't get out of their own way. Changes need to be made because all we're doing now is running in place, not being able to take the next step. I think Policy sees this and will take the necessary steps to get where this team can go. And on a side note, why is Doubs even on the hands team with his concussion history? He looked like he didn't want to have anything to do with the collision that comes with the territory of recovering an onside kick.
  23. At least this is the type of game that Ed Policy says "Enough is enough."
  24. The worst two game stretch of Packers football ever. Makes me want to run the car in the garage.
