  1. They've been such a disappointment the past five weeks. And what's they're signature win this year? Wisconsin? That's just sad. They'll need to make a deep run in the conference tournament just to get a five seed at this point.
  2. Hard pass.
  3. This was a no brainer. Did they really want to go back to parading in one scrub kicker after another?
  4. At least it will only be one year if he turns into Suppan 2.0.
  5. Eight seed at worst.
  6. Reports are that the Niners are trading Deebo Samuel to Washington for a fifth-round pick. If that's the case, Gute would be a fool to give up the package Seattle is asking for.
  7. I wanted him out of the draft too but I don't want him now. Attitude problem and a legit pass rusher like Garrett is a priority over receiver, even more so now since Alexander is most likely done in Green Bay.
  8. I have no problem with it at all. The object is to score after all, and you should be able to use any means necessary. It's similar to when a catch was still ruled a catch even though the receiver was pushed out of bounds if by the official's judgement the receiver would've got two feet in. The defender should have any means necessary to force an incompletion by pushing a receiver out of bounds and I'm glad that rule was changed. If the NFL outlaws the Tush Push it won't bother me at all, but I have no problem with it. If anything, you should only use the Tush Push on 4th and goal from the 1 yard line.
  9. Well, it looks like Gutey wanted to make the Packers the "Get off my lawn" team of the NFL with his comments to ban the Tush Push.
  10. Forget top 4. They might struggle to get a top 8. zThis is depressing.
  11. A couple of convincing wins over inferior teams will help some, but they'll have to win at least four of their final five to get a top 4 seed. A deep run in the conference tournament would be nice too.
  12. From Demovsky's column on espn.com; There are strong indications that Jaire Alexander's time with the Packers will end without him playing another down. Multiple team sources have privately expressed their frustration with Alexander's inability to stay healthy and/or play through injuries.
  13. I don't want Canada as our 51st state until they learn to play hockey.
  14. Anyone else still think we should pass on Garrett?
  15. Not exactly perfect. Favre was only a Jet for one year.
  16. Not a good time to go into a slump.
  17. They're not making a run. It most likely will be a first round exit no matter how many trades they make.
  18. Sterling Sharpe finally will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame!
  19. Yeah, it's starting to go downward a bit now. A couple of tough opponents but you have to win at least one of those.
  20. Mason Crosby officially retires from the NFL. Thanks for 16 great years. (Well, 15 anyway) But it sure was great to have that kind of stability at the kicker position. Here's hoping we can have McManus for another few years.
  21. Given that our last three first round picks were Morgan, Van Ness, and Walker, would giving up three firsts really be that big a deal? I would only offer two at the most, but since Gute makes his hay in the later rounds, I wouldn't be too upset about three. I don't really understand why some are so afraid of the price tag. It seems some would rather spend the money on keeping guys like Tom. It's time to make a splash and go all in, and if Gute is really serious about urgency, then he should put out a serious offer. I wonder how many people here were against Ron Wolf bringing in Reggie White because it would cost too much. You can't stay the youngest team in the NFL forever. Otherwise we can look forward to never seeing a deep playoff run.
  22. Liam Coen hired Packers linebackers coach/run game coordinator Anthony Campanile to be the team's defensive coordinator. "Anthony Campanile represents exactly what we want to be as a defensive unit and football team," Coen said in a statement Thursday. "He brings an aggressive defensive mindset and a system that is adaptable to our players and allows them to play fast and physical."
  23. Then you're not going to like this one bit. Yes, the guy who couldn't communicate with MLF on whether to kick the field goal or go for it against the Bears is going to be his game management advisor.
  24. Looks like Rich Bisaccia isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Not excited about Getsy either. Report: Packers extend Rich Bisaccia, hire Luke Getsy
  25. KC with the six minute scoring drive to win the game. Bet me.
