Credit to Colorado for keeping it within six or seven points most of the half until that last spurt. This almost feels like this should be a blowout, but I don't expect Marquette to continue to shoot 70%.
so I was talking to a Cowboys fan at work today (but I still like him) and obviously he's not happy about the way their off season is going. Heavily cash strapped and no running back are just the highlights.
Not sure what happened that first half since I didn't get back from work until halftime, but it was good to see them buckle down and take care of business in the second half.
Great job to weather the storm in the second half. Give Providence credit, they played great defense to get back in the game and had us playing frantically. I tell you what though. Providence must have the worst hair in college basketball.
Kolek will miss tonight's Big East Tournament opener and is most likely out the entire weekend. We really need him back healthy for March Madness. That would be a huge blow not to have him and would suck for him to end his college career that way.
The most noteworthy is Cousins leaving Minnesota for Atlanta. Gotta wonder what the Vikings plans are for QB. I think they draft #9 so they may spend that on a Nix or McCarthy type.
I have a hard time believing the organization is going to be happy with just Jacobs as the only significant RB on the team. Maybe they draft one second day but the RB draft class this year is pretty weak.
I'm shocked by this move, and a little hurt to be honest. Wish he could,ve been a Packer for life although that was highly unlikely anyway. Andrew Brandt says this will be a $12 million cap hit.
