  1. I saw that. I held off posting hoping it would be a walk off win.
  2. Astros tie it up in the 9th for extras against the Reds.
  3. There's no might about it. He absolutely will be, and Burnes has been making a push lately to get in too.
  4. Oh those bases on balls to Winker and Adames.
  5. How do the Pirates walk Winker twice?
  6. All three strikes were in the strike zone. I don't know what you expect him to do, maybe strike out looking? He just sucks right now.
  7. Adames needs to be sat down for a couple games.
  8. I'd get someone up in the bullpen. Freddy looks even worse than usual. He may be hurt.
  9. Freddy can't find the strike zone with a divining rod.
  10. Gees Urias, is the the bat superglued to your shoulder?
  11. He certainly shouldn't be playing every day.
  12. Until the Cardinals are mathematically eliminated I consider them the biggest threats.
  13. Teheran must be astonished that run support is actually allowed for him.
  14. If management is afraid of how fans will react to a fire sale, especially when those fans are wrong, they need to find another line of work.
  15. Actually you can't even compare the two at all. While embarrassing, the Pirates had a winning record that season. This A's team is on pace to win less than 40 games. Only two other teams in the modern era can say that.
  16. At least we held a lead for an inning and a half this weekend.
  17. Three days ago Oakland was on pace to go 35-127 this year, the second worst record in the modern era. That Pirates team would still wipe the field with the A's.
  18. The Brewers have been around for 53 years, most of it being losing baseball and some of that pretty humbling and embarrassing. These past three days will go down as the most humiliating period of Brewers baseball.
  19. And starting tomorrow Oakland will go back to playing .200 ball.
  20. Oh ok, I didn't know that. I'm just following along on mlb.com since I no longer want to pay to watch this atrocity.
  21. I guess CC thought they didn't have a big enough deficit to overcome to explain why Strz is still in the game.
  22. Not while he's in Milwaukee anyway. The best thing for any non pitcher on this team is to get as far away from our hitting coaches as possible. Hell, it was even mentioned yesterday that Jace Peterson has a better hitting approach this year playing for the A's.
