  1. The Cardinals, and it's not even close. The Cubs make for a fun rivalry, but I want the Cards to be pounded into submission every game. The Cards ruined the lone World Series, and they will never be forgiven for that. Also, I was in Illinois as a Brewers fan when they were in the AL. So the Chicago team I learned to despise was the White Sox.
  2. Miz pitched like he was mad he didn't get pitcher of the month in May. He also reminds me of Caser from the old Twilight Zone episode "The Mighty Casey". https://tubitv.com/tv-shows/200256152/s01-e35-the-mighty-casey
  3. The only ones that could be considered close are CC 1 hitter that should have been called an error, and the Nieves No-No, but that was only because he got the No-No. This was unbelievable domination.
  4. 102 in the 9th is good for a closer. insane for a starter.
  5. Same. It is Friday night, so that is hurting the IGT turnout somewhat. And maybe a few are at the game witnessing this incredible performance in person.
  6. The park was definitely a factor. Smaller stands no stands in center made the wind much more significant. Vegas is dry and at an elevation that can make balls jump if they aren't using humidor. Hopefully it will all be sorted with the new stadium.
  7. The Brewers made a two point conversion on their second touchdown to win it.
  8. Maybe they can rephrase the existing "defensive indifference" to cover nobody catching a popup.
  9. Boston was rained out, so the Brewers aren't in last anymore.
  10. Two runs on a ball that didn't leave the infield. That's the Brewers brand of baseball I know. The three solo shots seemed out of place.
  11. Fortunately the Rockies aren't very good at Coors this year either.
  12. Cap. The unlimited payroll of the Dodgers is why small market teams like the Brewers fall short, no matter how well they are run. The floor is just something to make a cap more palatable to the players.
  13. I'm not so sure of that. I don't think Cubs fans like him right now.
  14. After a 12-4 start to May, I hope all the predictions fall short, except the fanciful 27-0 and the slightly impossible 100-0 (unless that's the prediction for today's score against the Cubs). Since the highest win prediction was 17, that would mean only a 5-5 finish to the month.
  15. Fitting that the last out was a tough chance for Oritz.
  16. If you are looking at baseball-reference, their WAR really hates first base.
  17. But in that case, Bubba came in with a 5 run lead and Pittsburgh extended it to 9. Patrick did 4 innings with no cushion at all.
