    Well... as far as slipping, I still dont want anyone else... He's 1000000000000000000000000000000000005.3x better than Ron Santo... More entertaining than Vin Scully That being said.. I think he needs to take a little step back... I find the game MORE entertaining when its both him and Corey on at the same time.

    I think he means we dont have interesting back stories... Guys like Pods, Brady Clarke, Joe Winklesas (sp) Those guys are interesting because you dont know too much about them... and they're not top notch talent... but play hard and try their best with their skill set.. I could be wrong tho...

    The only problem I have with him doing well is those casual fans who think Melvin screw'd up by not signing him.. That being said... I hope he does well... Guys like Sheeter, Jenkins, guys who played hard knowing they'd have a slim chance of winning here, Those are the guys I hope get their chance at a ring... (Jenks got his)

'A combination of published accounts and common sense would have the Brewers pulling in at least $200 million in 2009, between baseball’s general fund ($40 million), revenue sharing ($30 million), local revenues ($20 million) and game revenues (3 million fans at about $40 a head). They meet their payroll (about $80 million), operate the rest of the franchise (draft picks, international signings, regular overhead costs, insurance payments) and pay off the debt from purchasing the franchise, and that would seem to leave plenty left for Fielder (and, hey, maybe a couple pitchers).'

    Those numbers might be a little skewed. Didnt GK catch Wakefield in Boston? Im sure that had something to do with his Pass Ball/ WP numbers.

    Yeah... That is something I definately thought... Looked WAAAAY too outta place up there... Looks like a sign you'd find at a Little League park.

    First off.... weather couldn't have been any more perfect for the pre-game and game. Was nice to be able to park for the parking I pre-paid for. Best part of tailgateing is looking at how creative people are. Saw a guy who forgot the tongs, use a pitching wedge to turn dogs. (I personally forgot the lighter fluid and matches... but there is always wonderful helpful people for that.) Drunks did seem to be down a bit over years past when I went.. It has been a few years, but still too many for my tastes. I really dont understand why people feel the need to get drunk... but thats for another OT thread. Overall was just too nice of a day.

    That really doesn't surprise me in the least... Wouldn't surprise me if they're trying to 'prove' the "experts" correct in they're predictions.

    Let's just say the most important thing.... Baseball no matter the weather. Meaningful games throughout the year. The Cubs not being good. (edit: Spelling)

    I'll try..... 3 vs COL: 2-1 3 vs STL: 1-2 3 @ CHC: 1-1 (3rd game rainy day) 3 @ WSH: 3-0 3 @ PIT: 2-1 3 vs CHC: 2-1 3 vs PIT: 2-1 2 @ SD: 1-1 14 - 8..... Maybe a bit optimistic.... Prince Hr 4 + Hoff saves 3 (wont need him a lot) - Gomez gets 7 = 14 (edit: Bad math)
