I think that I wrote this in my sleep last night. I was actually thinking about some of the same teams/examples this morning. -

Right now, if I were Doug Melvin, I would get my resume ready for a gig on a Canadian national sports network. He needs to get canned in favor of a GM that can understand OBP, OPS and defense. He has assembled a joke of a team when you look at what happens w/ 1 injury. This team is just freaking low right now w/out Braun. They look like they think they have to play a perfect game...and when one little thing goes wrong they crawl in to +%%$$$ and hide. -
Start with the entire bench. Half of the bullpen. Our starting 3B and SS. And go from there...You forgot to mention Melvin and RRR. They can all go...and in a real freaking hurry.

Either that or 0-4 with 3k's and 5 LOB. It seems like replacements are always one of the extremes...

Not all of us have the talent to play MLB...but I'm guessing we all have more ambition than Corey Hart lately. Why is he so dang lazy on the basepaths over the last week or two? BA just called him out for it even...

This defense just lost me. Nice job Melvin...you have put together a wonderful team here. All offense, no defense and good pitching. Let's lose some offense this offseason and add at least a couple of guys that know how a glove works. This...team...makes...me...sick!

Ya we totally got fleeced in this one ... Greinke is horrible. I am to the point where I don't even want to watch the games in which he pitches in. Nah, our defense just flat out sucks in his starts. He is an emotional guy...that was a given when he was traded for...and those emotions seem to be getting the best of him when the defense constantly trips all over themselves. Any average MLB defense would have him in the 4ish at the max ERA. Do I have the stats to back that up? Not yet...but I will when I get a chance.

You are a better person than I then. I'd be pissed if I was Greinke...the defense (especially from Fielder) has been horrible in his starts. I will post some stats later this evening to back that statement up but if you have watched his starts you would understand what I am talking about. It's like the D falls apart when he is on the mound.

Ok, so more PC. I really cannot wait for Prince to leave via Free Agency. He is a DH and should not be allowed to ruin innings in the field any longer. He SHOULD HAVE BEEN the DH this entire series...

Jon Rauch went "Nuclear Meltdown!" up in Toronto vs the Phillies today. He's one huge dude that I wouldn't want to tick off. He actually tossed his coach out of the way to chew up the ump. Priceless!

This team looks lost today. Can't block balls in the dirt, can't field grounders in the outfield...sheesh...was there a drunken party last night?
