This would be the ultimate BF.net-ism! Definitely a +1 from me. From a dude that was here nearly from the beginning: I would use this reaction for nearly every positive reply. That said, I rarely post here since I'm almost 100% on my cell and, as others have alluded to, the current platform isn't exactly friendly in that usage. I'm actually really excited to see a mobile version! Additionally, thanks to the group that started everything back in the day. This was the "safe place" at the start of Brewers Twitter - we just didn't realize it at that time. Go Brewers - and down with the Cubs. Hammer -
Freddy Peralta - This year's Brandon Woodruff

Frosty or Frothyboys? #BeerMe -
I have been a fan of the Gray to Milwaukee narrative for a couple of years now. I'm really just hoping that he doesn't get traded to the Reds with DJ waiting there to "fix" him...

Wait - so Greinke isn't moving to 2B and Braun isn't moving to 3B in the Clancy proposal? WHAT!?! Kidding of course - and I'm actually quite fond of the idea if enough salary can be shed in this and subsequent deals.

I really wonder what the story is on why he didn't get drafted? He has absolutely raked over his first 126 AB's between Helena and Wisconsin...

This thread has some good stuff in it! Is there a website that breaks down draft class by team and by year to see all of the stats in a fairly easy to read/find format?

Eligible for the Rule 5 Draft - Fall 2018
Hammer replied to Jim Goulart's topic in Brewers Minor League Talk
Question: if the Brewers are having these issues there have to be other, more highly rated, teams that have it worse...right? Wouldn't the top rated minor league lists have the same (or worse) issue? What about San Diego, Atlanta, Toronto...etc? -
A. I'm 41 years old and was previously a prospects hoarder/nerd. Prospects are awesome, but I want to see meaningful baseball in October in Milwaukee. A...PLEASE!!

When my son gets to high school he will play whatever league we want him to play. The WIAA will not have any say in that...

It was touched on earlier but travel leagues do afford the players much better coaching in general. I also disagree with the pay fees and get on any team you want. Those teams still require very, very good baseball players to be on their team. You can't just buy your way on...

Edit: worthless parody accounts...

I wouldn't mind seeing Dubon for a stint this season...maybe he can man 2nd with Sogard and get more production than what Villar brings...

Is it possible that we could be buyers at the deadline?
Hammer replied to Madhawk23's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
It would be nice if there was a contending team that needed a slugging LF or DH that had a starting pitcher that was on the cusp of the bigs. Follow me? 2 birds, 1 stone. -
I have not read this entire thread word for word. - lots of it though. That said, is it time for another Wisconsin affiliate? I love the TRats but would pay good $ to go see a AAA team in Madison.

I followed Darryl Strawberrys career very closely when I was a kid so I have hats from every team that he played for yet. I don't wear any of them but I do have them for nostalgia. I would like to start getting hats for all of the Brewers minor league teams this year though.

I'm thinking that he and Diaz will both be top-30 when we have this discussion next offseason... Wishful thinking? Yes...but damn, the potential is there!
-
Ok y'all - let the speculation begin! "Plenty of MLB writers predicting Rangers will acquire Ryan Braun from Brewers in the next month..For a decent price.. Mazara? #TexasRangers" I don't know who all of these "plenty" are but I'd love another crack at that Rangers system... If not the Rangers - then who? Rangers Dodgers ?

BPro Brewers target: Rajai Davis?
Hammer replied to And That's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
I would be very, very surprised if the Brewers even considered signing an OF. Just doesn't seem to be a need imo... -
Is it just me or are Brett Phillips's hands really "loud". To me, it looks like there is a lot of motion and timing perfection needed to get that swing to the zone...

More info to come - I hope Agent39 finds a support system for him in Texas. http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2016/08/26/report-rangers-pitcher-jeremy-jeffress-arrested-in-dallas-county/?utm_source=TweetDal&utm_medium=twitter Edit - added link

Which one was the cat and which one was the dog? Anyway - I'm a bit miffed because every time I'm actually watching a game Broxton goes 0-4. Every time we're busy and can't watch the game he goes like 3-4...
