  1. I am ready to fall off my chair! Two quality at-bats by Hall this evening!
  2. Hardy is fine at #2. He walked and hit a ball to the deepest part of the park tonight. I would prefer Gamel at 2 against RHP, but that's not gonna happen. Macha doesn't seem to like him to much. I would prefer Gamel at #2 full time instead of being platooned. Hardy can slide back to 7th where he belongs..
  3. Mans game Brian...that sounds like a good idea.
  4. Have we found our new leadoff hitter? Edit: Now we need an everyday #2 hitter that can hit a little bit...
  5. Is there a better RH half of a 3b platoon in the Brewers system right now? Sheesh, Hall seems like an auto-out every time through the line-up. Follow that with JK and P and it is no wonder the team is sucking offensively right now...
  6. So, would a Chris Young and Heath Bell for Hardy, Parra and CV be a good trade in anyone elses opinion?
  7. You're "cool"? That's rather presumptuous! BTW, a friend of mine in San Diego has heard that Peavey is about to be dealt again although he is not an "insider" or anything. Fingers crossed...
  8. Name him "Peanuts". When you are calling him you would feel like a ballpark vendor.
  9. My friend just named his dog "Get over here". Funny...
  10. This is the reason that I was so jacked for this draft. Our team has been home grown with way less to work with. Now, if the Crew can continue the magic the team could end up being loaded in another 3-5 years...after every draft.
  11. As our team gets better, guys that are better players are going to be good players on other teams. You just can't keep everyone and that is what happened here. Is it tough to see? Yep, but that is bound to start happening more and more...
  12. Subtract Whorehey Wholio and see what those numbers really equate to. What a job...
  13. 14-10 win tonight in Omro. 2-4 with a HR and 4 RBI. Here is the funny part though...when I hit the homer in the bottom of the 6th the other team's 1st baseman yelled "oh yeah, 3 pop-ups and a HR. Real good game...". Not only did he have the stats wrong but where is the sportsmanship? Sheesh...
  14. Revised thread. We lost 9-8 on Monday in the bottom of the 7th but I was happy w/ my personal play. 4-5 with a HR, 3 singles and 5 rbi. Too bad I moved from the Mke area as I would have loved to contribute to the Bfan team...
  15. It has been a strange year already (2 weeks in) for our league. I've seen 1 broken hand, on a dude that didn't even leave the game, I personally have a raspberry the entire length of my forearm from getting tripped while crossing 1st, and a female from the ladies league got spiked in the forehead...requiring 15 stitches. So, the question is this: What injuries have y'all suffered this year so far? Anything fun to talk about? Hammer
  16. Indeed.com is very good. It is a spider website that pulls jobs from all over the internet. Simplyhired.com is also very good. Good luck!!
  17. Great Gam Gam (obscure movie reference)...
  18. At least his name only has one e...unlike Week's two e's and a k....
  19. Hey Logan - I have had absolutely great luck w/ Traxxas. Their products are good and their customer support/warranty service is even better. Plus, if you are in the Fox Valley you really cannot beat Hobby Town in Oshkosh. I know that I have pimped them twice now but I am not an employee or a relative of the owner...I am just really satisfied w/ their service/knowledge. They have helped me go from an RC moron to a guy that can now fix nearly anything on my truck in only one year. Traxxas.com would be a great place to start if you are looking at new/different models...
  20. I would look on Ebay or Craigslist for a used truck/car...seriously. Then I would go to Hobbytown in Oshkosh. It is on the corner of 9th and Oregon and the people there are AMAZING to work with. The staff will help you with any mod to the vehicle that you could ever imagine. This is WAY cheaper than buying a new car/truck and you will get a LOT more gratification out of it. I personally have a Stampede that was purchased new from Hobbytown and while getting a ready to run model was nice, I have put a ton of money into it in mods and fixes. My next truck/car will be used...and then modded like crazy. I'm 31 and starting back in to RC stuff after 15-20 years has been a blast!
  21. Don't flies usually hang around dead stuff? Is there a dead rodent/animal outside your house? Maybe under a bay window or something?
  22. Typically a baseball but some players have been know to try all sorts of things. Anyway, this is a long season and it is nice to know that there may be other options down on the farm in case a need arises...
  23. For some reason I'm in to the "older" stuff lately. Maybe it's a bit of the "crap, I'm over 30 and wish I was in college again" syndrome...but these are the most played on my new ipod over the last week or so. Doo Wop - Lauren Hill OPP - Naughty by Nature Insane in the Brain - Cypress Hill Regulate - Warren G Killing Me Softly - Fugees Ditty - Paperboy
  24. Still hoping for a 1 flap down home run in this game...
  25. There are lots of reasons that I like to eat...now I have another. Mmm...
