trying to feel your optimism homer...but no way we should be down 8-6 right now though...6 run leads need to be held

how on earth did cap escape from that one...cmon guys, at least get 3 hits...
  3. rwa12
not ready to jump ship on this game yet...we're only down 3. D-Rays are coming back, and we're better than them

also i think choi usually starts at 1B...nice not to have drew in the lineup
  5. rwa12
no JD Drew...think everyone else is the same though

I like that the brewers hung with the best team in the NL, but would really have liked to see Santos get a W today. Lee seems to be dominated by anyone who throws into the left batters box...if he keeps that up he will be the easiest mark in the NL....rough weekend...think it's time for Magruder to stick to the right side of the plate...

For the time being..lee's name should be changed from caballo to cerrano...he no hit ball that curves...where is jobu?

batman- I believe it was the mad hungarian al hrabosky

Thought you guys might get a kick out of this...the STL broadcasters said when Branyan came on to pinch hit that "he has a little pop, but nothing compared to Geoff Jenkins"...are these guys even familiar with baseball, you may not know the Brewers, but Branyan has always been an all or nothing guy...the way they were talking, you would think Branyan has only made contact once or twice in his career.

well that was pretty anti-climactic...time to take my rolaids and hope that tomorrows game doesn't make me as sick as tonights...

mesa is 146 years old...they should have had him back at the nursing home hours ago...let's make them pay for it
  12. rwa12
I guess it's time to put up or shut up...
  13. rwa12
ross is just on fire today
  14. rwa12
this would be an excellent time for Jenkins to come out of his slump...how about back to backs a la the Reds on opening day?? Can this happen for us once please?
  15. rwa12
Why do we only try to hit and run when Overbay is up? It hasn't worked out yet?? agree with batman, give lee a chance to win it
  16. rwa12
i think i just threw up in my mouth...wow...could this game go worse for us right now...need a big 9th
  17. rwa12
almost can't fault the hitters...we're trailing because of about 14 combined inches over 3-4 swings
  18. rwa12
i agree...thought it might be worth the extra AB in the 9th...why didn't they build the fences 2 feet closer? We'd be up by 5?!?!?
  19. rwa12
do you pull jeff for russ...and the hopes of a tie game off of a rightie?
  20. rwa12
pretty nice inning for ricky...hope this holds up...
  21. rwa12
I agree that 113 pitches arewayyyy to many for Glover, but pulling him after 5 gives us another situation like Sunday. I guess I liked Glover's chances about as well as our pen for 4 innings
  22. rwa12
"Big strikout there but you have to wonder why a guy like Glover gets the nod over a highly touted prospect like De La Rosa. " JDLR has some control issues as well...for the time being I think he is a good long-reliever until he stops going so deep in the count...
  23. rwa12
Glover is just trying to prove Schroeder right...I hope Pitt can hit what would be a #8 starter on most teams
  24. rwa12
Don't know if this has been addressed yet, and don't feel like sifting through 20 pages, but this thought occured to me while watching the game...did anyone let Lyle know that there were people stealing? Both Clark and Spivey were shot with Lyle batting, and he didn't so much as wave at a pitch...I believe that in both cases they were fastballs down the middle, do something to break up Barret's rhythm...once again loved JDLR today, he really deserved another win with that performance

Maybe 3 centerfielders make that catch...this one isn't on his head...would have liked to see him make the catch, but it wasn't a gimmee by any means...love all the Hall harrasment too guys, JJ hasn't exactly been lighting it up behind the plate either, but Hall made some very nice plays in the field... sheesh, if this team doesn't win every game, this forum believes we should cut half the roster. This game came down to 2 lucky high choppers, and some poor clutch hitting, there are 157 more games to go...
