    How is it Arnold's fault that a bunch of players he inherited are playing like total trash relative to their career norms? Adames, Urias, Taylor, Brosseau, Tellez, Burnes, Peralta, Lauer, Bush...if those players were playing even close to how they played the last 2 years we would be running away with the division.

    Adames in wins - .958 OPS, 32 RBI Adames in losses - .366 OPS, 2 RBI Might be the craziest splits I have ever seen.

    Adames has let like 10 balls go into CF this year on SB attempts at 2B. That wasn't even a bad throw from Contreras and Adames just whiffed on it.

    I thought the same thing. Berry better have been yelling at Perkins about Alonso coming behind him. If not then I put that just as much on Berry as Perkins.

    Brewers are 22nd in wRC+ with RISP and 21st in BA with RISP if that's more your speed.

    He's also 6th in the NL in fWAR this year.

    Was Quero 2019? He might save that class. Overall though a rough year between the 2019 draft and IFA class.

    He already throws 3 pitches. FB, SL, CB and he's periodically thrown a CH but those are quite rare.

    @ARobsBrewCrew this isn’t an injury question but do you know when the Southern League is done with the enhanced ball? i thought it was halfway point which would be today but I’ve also seen July 9th as well. I can’t seem to find a definitive answer.

    Absolutely a big improvement. If he can combine the power with a better approach then watch out.

    Was silly of Dorrian to act that way. The bases were loaded and it was a 1-2 count. It was clearly accidental, but Dorrian for some reason decided to make a scene about it.

    Since returning from the IL, he has an 81 wRC+ and 26% K-rate, so no he's not playing well right now.

    Is it really Arnold's fault that a bunch of established/semi-established players are having the worst seasons of their career? How is a GM supposed to predict that so many players will have 10th percentile outcome seasons. Adames - 86 wRC+ vs 109 wRC+ last season Tellez - 84 wRC+ vs 110 wRC+ last season Winker - 59 wRC+ vs 108 wRC+ last season Urias - 61 wrC+ vs 110 wRC+ last season Taylor - 8 wRC+ vs 102 wRC+ last season Brosseau - 75 wRC+ vs 118 wRC+ last season I don't really know how you can blame a GM for not predicting that.

    My hypothetical trade. Burnes and Payamps for Manzardo, Montgomery, and Basabe. BTV has it as pretty fair. Brewers getting $51.3M surplus value and Rays getting $54.6 surplus value.

    Does seem like there are quite a few guys who started really slow so their overall numbers look pretty average but they have been really good lately. At A: Gregory Barrios had a 22 wRC+ in April. Since May 1st he has a 105 wRC+ with a 128 wRC+ in June. Jadher Areinamo had a 42 wRC+ in April. Since May 1st he has a 95 wRC+. Then you obviously mentioned Hebert Perez. At A+: Robert Moore had a 69 wRC+ in April. Since May 1st he has a 122 wRC+ with a 139 wRC+ in June. Darrien Miller had a 42 wRC+ in April. Since May 1st he has a 133 wRC+. Then you obviously mentioned Joe Gray Jr.

    I figured Rowdy would probably be non-tendered this offseason barring a breakout season, but he's trending towards being DFA'd. Feel like he looks bigger this year. Wonder if that has hurt his swing.
