  1. Oh wow.
  2. I didn't see Chase Davis in his mock. If we could get Schanuel and Davis with our first 2 pick, I would be absolutely ecstatic.
  3. I feel like I’ve heard nothing about Tyrone since he went back on the IL. I know he got a second PRP injection but have heard nothing about timelines. Feel like he could definitely be pushed to the 60-day.
  4. Feel like concern over the Cape performance is probably less wood bat related and more small college struggling against better competition on the Cape. I agree with you that any concern is probably overstated
  5. His BABIP is 70 points over his career average. Maybe he's cracked the code and is going to way overperform his peripherals, but seems more likely the .400 BABIP he was rocking a week or so ago is going to continue to trend down until he's a below league average hitter just like he was in Milwaukee.
  6. Padres and Mets great case studies that just throwing money/prospects at anything with a big name isn't a surefire way to create a winning team. Stearns may very well go to the Mets but that team is riddled with old players and bad contracts and their best hitter is a FA next offseason. Their farm system isn't anything special especially on the pitching side.
  7. Yeah but what above their above average bullpen that doesn't have a single healthy pitcher with an ERA below 4!
  8. Arcia is 3 for his last 33 and has a worse xwOBA than Adames.
  9. Russell Smith is not a good pitcher. Bailed out by a great throw from LF to get the out at home, but he's blown the lead.
  10. Unfortunately it is at Down East week again for Carolina...which I believe means no MiLBtv broadcast.
  11. I've wondered for a while if there was an injury there. His velo has been down and his command has been abhorrent in the last 4-6 weeks.
  12. Bummed it's not Andrews, but guessing they wanted Pannone's length during this stretch of a lot of games in a row.
  13. If all he cares about is money sure, the Mets future looks like an absolute mess. Their farm system is nothing special especially on the pitching side and their MLB roster is super old and bloated with some not very good contracts. With the Braves in their division, I don't see the Mets competing for the division for the foreseeable future. Honestly I could see Stearns doing with the Mets what he did with the Brewers when he first got here and doing a quick retool/rebuild.
  14. No you were mocked for saying Stearns was so focused on being the Mets POBO that he was ruining the Brewers.
  15. You and your pesky facts sveumrules!
  16. I’d rather they get hot and start winning but I think the most realistic situation is they just continue to get by for the next month and are in a weird spot of buy/sell. I just think there’s too many holes to fill. RF, DH, 1B, 2B are all among the worst in the league this year offensively and I don’t think we can get 4 good hitters through the trade market. Leads me to thinking selling is probably the best option for this team because let’s be real does anyone think this team could score enough in the postseason to make a run?
  17. Seems like the only roster moves we made were Jesus Rivero to Carolina, Shane Smith to Wisconsin, Luis Amaya to Biloxi. Was expecting some more moves with this being the mid-way point of the season, but maybe they are waiting for the sticky balls in Biloxi to go away before making bigger moves.
  18. Oh boy the Brewers that pull the ball dramatically less and hit the ball in the air dramatically less this season didn't change there approach!!! What was I thinking.
  19. I love that the Brewers have dramatically altered their approach this season to an approach so many fans wanted and now when the offense sucks with this approach the fans are still blaming the old approach for the problems. The team sucks at hitting the ball in the air. The team sucks at pulling the ball. The fans: "All they ever do is try to pull the ball" lmao
  20. Alex Jensen from ProspectsLive was raving about Jesus Rivero last week. Here's the tweets.
  21. LA as well. If Rays are hitting more grounders near 0 LA and we are more on the negative side that would lead to better results. 0 LA balls have a .359 BA this season compared to -10 LA balls .188 BA. I remember @Matthew Trueblood did an article this year about the Brewers hitters hitting way too many grounders with very negative LA.
  22. 100% this. So many times this year Tellez has taken strike 1 and never seen a pitch that good the rest of the AB. I’ll gladly trade off Tellez having a lower OBP if it means he’s slugging more. His EV numbers have cratered this season. His approach has been a gigantic failure.
  23. Other than when he's being asked to keep the catcher's thrown down to 2B on steals in the infield.
  24. Braun after 2.5 years of not being drug tested might drop a 150 wRC+
  25. ,544 OPS and 54 wRC+ which are both worst in the MLB
