  1. Oh no. Ibarguen started coming in on a ball that landed near the warning track. What should have been a sac fly turns into an RBI double. Salem's announcers are saying how unimpressed they have been with Wilson's defense this week especially compared to what level of A ball team Milwaukee typically puts out. It makes sense. This is a really young team that is also quite a bit thinner in terms of prospect quality compared to what we are used to seeing from our A ball team.
  2. Nats spread out the LHH a bit. Those 4 are hitting 1-3-5-7 today. They alternated L-R-L through the first 7 hitters.
  3. Cubs fans are incredible. Counsell is getting a ton of backlash online for pulling Imanaga who had a no hitter after 6 innings. They already have 3 SP on the IL with 1 done for the year and fans are pissed that Counsell pulls the guy who had 100 pitches through 6 innings and no chance of finishing the game.
  4. I assume that 50th EV is the median batted ball EV and not savant's EV50 which is the average of the top 50% batted balls?
  5. I have him 12th at 45 FV and I’m struggling to justify putting him higher than that just because he’s a 1B/DH. These are the position players I have above him - Dinges, Lara, Fischer, Pratt, Williams, Pena, Made. Outside of Fischer all of those guys project as up the middle players at the MLB level and Fischer at least currently is a step above Burke on the defensive spectrum as a 3B. I rank based on projected WAR like Fangraphs does so I really value the ability to play up the middle.
  6. Burke really feels in a class of his own when it comes to power hitting prospects with the Brewers right now. I’m struggling to think of the last guy that had this type of raw and game power in our system. Maybe crazy but could it be Prince?
  7. I feel conflicted because I don’t like the choices that brought them to the color scheme and I don’t like Wisco but I feel like the jersey looks pretty good seeing the players wear it.
  8. As much as I dislike trying to make the whole lake blue thing (like the Bucks) and orange a thing and also dislike the Wisco thing. I don’t know anyone personally who calls Wisconsin Wisco, I thought the jerseys looked quite good in that video which I wasn’t expecting.
  9. Hamilton has 17 DRS and 6 OAA in 687 career innings at 2B. I think he's plenty comfortable there.
  10. Ashby warming with the Brewers down 3-0 when Woodford has thrown 1 out in the month of April is so on brand for Pat Murphy
  11. Walking Monasterio 3 times in 4 innings is disgraceful pitching lol
  12. I remember when people were verbatim saying this about Durbin last year. He's a Top 30 prospect in our system. He's not some bum.
  13. I don't think that's a guarantee. Let's see Pratt handle AAA pitching before we contemplate bringing him up.
  14. Kid just has no clue where the ball is going out of his hand
  15. Ortiz's swing decisions are somehow worse than they were last year in the early going. He's somehow swinging at fewer pitches in the zone and chasing even more than he was last year. His meatball swing % is at 40% which is 36 points below league average.
  16. For what it's worth our catchers have not been bad at it per savant. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/leaderboard/abs-challenges?gameType=regular&year=2026&challengeType=team-summary&level=mlb&minChal=1&minOppChal=0&dataCount=runs&sort=net_chal_gained_runs_total&sortDir=desc&page=0&pageSize=50
  17. Catcher being scared to challenge and ump having no idea what the strike zone is is not a fun combo
  18. Ump needs to wake up and figure out the strike zone
  19. For me if you have a strikeout rate north of 35% you need to be hitting in the bottom half of the order even if you have good production.
  20. Then here's ISO on balls in play on all pitches. Really don't think that backs up that he likes pitches middle in.
  21. He's most definitely not a guy who likes pitches inside and if we are talking strictly fastballs he hates pitches inside. This is slugging on balls in play against FB.
  22. I went back and watched the video and it didn't feel like his throws were bad though I wasn't trying to use a timer to figure out pop time.
  23. You might think I'm exaggerating, but I promise I'm not. Here are the clips from the 19 pitches thrown to Willson yesterday. William sets up for every single one to be on the outside edge. https://www.mlb.com/video/?q=BatterId+%3D+[575929]+AND+Date+%3D+["2026-04-07"]+Order+By+Timestamp+ASC&cp=MIXED&p=0
  24. That inside pitch was a backed up curveball that was supposed to be outside. 19 pitches against Willson yesterday and William wanted every single one to be on the outer half.
