  1. And Turang shows enough that he will be our 2nd baseman this year. While moving to SS when we trade Adames in 2024 into 2025. It is inevitable that Brewers trade Burnes and Adames between the end of this season into 2025. No way they can keep all three of Willy, Corbin, and Brandon. They’ll extend Woodruff though and he’s the Ace.
  2. I believe they’ll keep Winker this year as our primary DH, and he will have success at AMF. I think Weimer will be in AAA for most of the year unless Mitchell struggles and is sent back down, and then he bumps Taylor as the 4th OF. But I do believe Weimer is our RF in 2024 100%. He has a great combination of tools that make him that guy.
  3. Mitchell did show a lot of promise in his short stint with the Brewers last year. I am more confident that Frelick will be up my mid-May though. The season he had last year plus his speed and glove will make him our regular CF until Jackson is ready in 2024 or 2025 and push Sal to LF. Yelich will DH primarily by that time.
  4. I believe the Brewers can keep two out of three. Burnes will be dealt for prospects and players and they can still remain competitive
  5. You don’t move Adames to 3B Keep Turang at 2B Urias has proven to be a plus defender at 2B and 3B Get a FA like Drury to 3B while keeping Brosseau for left handing pitching Plenty of Offense and Versatility to hold for a few years
  6. They won’t be able to trade Yelich, what they’ll possibly have to do is extend Adames and Woodruff/Burnes in season, I really think they’ll extend Adames and Burnes and trade Woodruff. You can’t turn away Burnes who is a Cy Young Candidate every year and Adames as a cornerstone of the team. Brewers can still have a very good rotation and compete without Woodruff, especially while getting a veteran or two and development of Aaron Ashby. I really think now is the time to trade guys like Taylor and Lauer to get younger and cheaper players who can be in the minors for one year or ready. Lauer can get a decent return, and Taylor can get a young back of the end starter that’s cheap (like Zach Plesac) Woodruff on the other hand can get a lot of major league ready talent, and guys that can take place at the hot corner, rotation, and first base in the near future. Woodruff to Mets for INF INF Ronny Mauricio, P Matt Allen, INF Mark Vientos, P Joel Diaz, and P Jose Butto Vientos is major league ready at first base or DH, Mauricio can be our 3B of the future and blocked by Baty and Lindor Matt Allen can be a swing starter in a year and develop, while the other two are young and promising
  7. They wouldn’t be doing this if they felt Wiemer, Frelick, and Ruiz are ready to contribute I have a feeling the Brewers will be trading a few other pieces such as Wong and maybe Tellez and sign stop gap guys They will probably get a Catcher like Vasquez or Sanchez that’s offensive minded I believe they’re going with speed and defense while keeping their pitching in tact
  8. I would be more open to taking that money and extending our current pitching staff. Use our Depth in the outfield to trade for a third baseman like Diaz or Paredes from TB We could actually trade Tyrone Taylor for one of those guys based off the simulator Depending on if we trade Renfroe, we can still get a veteran DH and a Catcher

  10. People are forgetting the Orioles in the conversation they are an ace away from being a pretty relevant team, even in the competitive American League East I think they’re gonna trade one of them, and the guy is going to be Corbin Burnes. They can get a lot of really good prospects from the Orioles along with another hitter, Orioles have Major League ready guys to trade and also guys to bring up to play everyday when they trade some regulars They can get a lot of really good prospects from the Orioles along with another hitter Corbin Burnes and Tyrone Taylor to Orioles for P Grayson Rodriguez, P DL Hall, INF Coby Mayo, and OF Austin Hays Rodriguez and Hall are bonefide starters, Hays is OF/DH with pop, and Mayo is two years away from being ML ready or even a reserve next year
  11. I think they go via FA or acquire one through a veteran trade My guess is Gary Sanchez. They can get him for around $8 million per year which is just $2 million higher than Narvaez He had 15 HR and 61 RBI last year which is gold production from a backstop They’re still high on Feliciano and Quero in the Minors and they’re 2 years away Keep the nucleus of young talent for the future Brewers Minor League System is coming around very nice
  12. I personally think the Brewers will trade one of Burnes and Woodruff and Renfroe Then they’ll extend the Ace that they keep for 4-5 years Hunter can be traded because of the OF talent ready for MLB soon in the Minors Brewers will get a bat and pitchers for one of the Aces And Brewers can sign a veteran OF for a year and platoon them with Mitchell or Taylor I can also see them not keeping Wong and getting a 3B like Drury or Justin Turner While getting an offensive minded catcher like Gary Sanchez, or make a run at Contreras If they get Contreras, then plug Turang and Hiura at 2B, then Urias and Brosseau at 3B Contreras can swing between Catcher and DH, then get a Veteran to play DH and OF also (like Adam Duvall)
  13. 14. I think they’ll keep Renfroe on the one year deal, but if they do, it’ll be to a team that needs power in the Outfield, maybe the SF Giants Renfroe for Lamonte Wade and prospects I can see them trading Burnes or Woodruff for another young bat and prospects. Teams I see they can trade them to are White Sox, Red Sox, and Twins. Bold prediction is they’ll trade Renfroe for a stopgap OF and prospect or two, and extend Burnes. they’ll trade Woodruff and get really good trade value while getting veteran pitchers to fill in the starting rotation i think they can get some youth for guys like Houser too
  15. Burnes would demand a $30 million a year contract I would see Brewers extending Woodruff for 3-4 years before Corbin. Burnes would get a great return for a power hitting infielder, another pitcher, and prospects. I would try to trade him to teams like the Mariners or Yankees. Seattle has the depth to part with guys like Ty France and has the young pitching depth and farm system. To me, they’d be the perfect trade partner.
  16. I would think the Brewers go after another Power Hitter by FA or trade. If they feel they cannot sign Corbin Burnes and his value is high, I can see them trading Burnes to an AL Team like the Mariners or Yankees. They can get a high profile bat like Gleybor Torres or Ty France and a couple top prospects or a SP like Chris Flexen included in the deal. Turang and Hiura will platoon at 2B and DH. The rest of the lineup will stay in tact.
