    so you are telling me... we are 3.5 from the division lead right now after a rough start, and currently hold the wild card.... playing great baseball... AND we just added the CY Young Award Winner from the AL last year..... talk about fireworks.

    i am not a big mota supporter.... i would love to be able to go this sunday however in the hopes that i could reach mota with my voice (that being a 10 run brewers lead) and let him know what i think about his performance from today. not booing, but a very specific blaming for a very bad meltdown.

    There is no need to write in Russell... if he wishes to play in the ASG, it will be. I believe there are restrictions to him being in the home run derby, as he may accidently declare war on Canada, with NY being so close to there, and home runs becoming flying projectiles.

    You know, Bush is really a gamer. He went out and got rocked in the first inning (giving up the 5 spot), but gave us 3 strong innings after that where he only gave up 3 more runs. You have to love the heart of a kid like that. I see him anchoring this rotation when Sheets leaves next year. - Ned Yost, post-game of a start somewhere down the line.... (it almost seems as though this has been done before?)

    Am I the only one (I know that statement is not true) that noticed two huge blunders by mr yost today? Twice, there were runners on first, bottom of the order up, nobody out, Counsell up. Twice Yost decides not to sacrafice Kendall to second. Twice it badly back fires. One of the times, CC failed to get Kendall over, then he had McClung attempt (if you call it that) to sacrafice him over , and again nothing. McClung not a big hitter at all, but had a nice double earlier in the game. Correct me if you are wrong, but if you have the bottom of the order up, and you are in a tight game with the pitcher throwing well, dont you get the guy to second with less than two outs? In each case CC could have got him to second, and McClung and the Hurricane each would have shots to get Kendall in from 2nd.... instead Kendall didn't see second base at all ... let alone cross the plate! Just really bad game management IMHO. Correct me if I am off base here.. but it really hurt to watch this game today for a good part of it knowing there were a possible two runs (or chance at two more runs) that would never be cause of Nedly....

    I have loved the Branyan talk - as he was always one of my favorites, I always wanted the Brewers to pick him up from Cleveland back when we Got Sexson and Burnitz, loved his big bat. After attending the game today - where he played very soild D, and basically put us in the lead today, thanks to his 1st inning RBI single and his walk before the Cameron HR, his blast last night... I just don't get it that he didn't receive much of a hand in introductions and as he was going up to the plate all day... he may be the quietest loudest contributor we have seen on the Crew... or is it Branyan makes so much impact that it seems as though there is no impact at all?

    is anyone else having any tv viewing issues on fsn? i have att uverse... and its just a black screen now that i think about it, branyan is starting, therefore there must be some fcc regulations to sensor the awesomeness... i guess now i understand. nothing wrong with uke and jim.

    sheets' only hitting around 89-90 looks like, looks like he was stretching a bit when he walked off... not like he's really hurt but probably pretty sore.... looks stiff, but he is pounding the strike zone for sure

    went to the game tonight. sat out in the left field bleachers. first thing i noticed was a very nice crowd for a tuesday evening... it's amazing to see how pumped up these fans are here in milwaukee.... it was like everyone was on the edge of their seats all night ready to explode into cheering... and it happened in that magical 7th inning... as i was at the game, i made the decision to purchase two tickets for tomorrows game. i will be there for the sweep. or so i hope greatly. this team is getting more and more exciting to watch, and i think people are catching on! go crew!

    i too shall be there tonight. went last night to the "Balk off" game, great crowd... great game... same tonight i hope..... oh yea, and I'll be there tomorrow too... i am super hyped!
