[After an exended booth cam shot of Bill and Daron] Bill: You like that camera, don't you. Daron: I do. I'm going to have one installed at home . . . downstairs.
How did Freel not get tossed? And Daron, we're not going to sign Lee as a free agent. Haven't you been paying attention to that whole contract situation thing?
Is bill Schroeder an idiot or just does he enjoy acting like he knows what he is doing. I don't see why those two things have to be mutually exclusive.
Forget about closer, Turnbow doesn't even look like he belongs in AAA right now. He has one pitch that is fairly hittable and he can't locate it anyway. Even if we have no better option, it is time to try somebody else until Turnbow can use a breaking ball.
Daron just said something like "he may have tagged he may have not, it doesn't matter, it's 1-0". Uh, what? How does it not matter if that's the reason that it's 1-0?
If anyone is thinking about watching Brewer's mlb.com "scouting video", don't waste your time. There is a 350k clip of him taking 4 balls and catching a popup.
Let's see, 4 or 5 years in the minors, another year and a half for Tommy John surgery, probably a rotator cuff in there somewhere, hopefully we'll see you in 7 or 8 years, Jeremy.
They are horrible throws, but I'm not talking about Prince making his own errors, I'm talking about saving other guys' errors. He just doesn't do it very often at all.
It was a bad throw, but those are still catchable. Getting balls in the dirt is a major problem for him, he is way below average at it for a major league first baseman.
