  1. I thought refreshing the page was supposed to work when these things weren't pinned? Stupid ezboard.
  2. Weeks has to make that play. That ball at that angle has to be his ball all the way.
  3. There's Rickie's first really bad throw from 15 feet away this year. Luckily that McClout guy doesn't know what he's doing.
  4. I'm really irritated by Greg Maddux's socks. They aren't stirrups, they are just socks with stripes on them. And they aren't even knock offs of stirrups the way they're supposed to look, they're knock offs of crappy 80's stirrups. And he only shows a couple inches of them, what is the point of that?
  5. Ohka had 3 balls hit hard against him, although Jenkins should have caught that fly ball.
  6. Lineups and more from jsonline: Phoenix - - Milwaukee Brewers shortstop J.J. Hardy was scratched from the starting lineup on Sunday when he experienced back spasms during the pre-game workout. Bill Hall, who was scheduled to play left field, moved to shortstop and Gabe Gross took Hall's place in the outfield. Hardy's condition will be evaluated daily. Here are the starting lineups for the game today: CUBS 1. Juan Pierre, cf. 2. Jerry Hairson, 2b 3, Todd Walker, dh 4, Aramis Ramirez, 3b 5, John Mabry, rf 6, Matt Murton, lf 7, Michael Restovich, 1b 8, Ronny Cedeno, ss 9, Casey Kopitzke, c. BREWERS 1. Brady Clark, cf. 2. Bill Hall, ss. 3. Geoff Jenkins, rf 4. Prince Fielder, 1b. 5, Rickie Weeks, 2b. 6. Gabe Gross, lf. 7. Corey Koskie, 3b 8. Mark Johnson, c. 9. Tomo Ohka, p.
  7. It only took 6 months, but it's not stuck on zero anymore. Congratulations, Major League forum.
  8. Overbay doesn't have to be traded Pfffft, I say. Let the bidding begin!!
  9. Would have been nice to get the win and get that "haven't had a winning season since" thing out of the way, but all in all it was an excellent season. We all know we're on the way up because of what the team did this year. If we pull off a couple of good moves in the offseason, there's no reason for anything but more optimism.
  10. Bay gets the rest of the day off. I don't get it.
  11. That called strike 3 was a little, uh, generous.
  12. You: "Range factor." Me: "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"
  13. Whatever "analyst" Daron is talking about who that said Brady Clark should be considered for a gold glove should just stop pretending that he pays attention to baseball.
  14. Hardy has plantar fasciitis now. I don't know how pain in your heel gets initially diagnosed as turf toe. Whatever, it didn't stop Rasheed Wallace.
  15. EDIT: as far as the wild card talk goes, I dont get why so many people get angry when its brought up. Dont get me wrong I dont think we're going to win it, but whats wrong with having a little fun and dreaming. I guess not everybody has fun being totally delusional.
  16. Even if we sweep the Astros, we'll still probably be about 5 games back. If Philly, Florida, OR Houston only play .500 ball, we will still have to win about 15 of our last 21 to catch up with them. Enough about the wild card already.
  17. Clemens is moving around out there like he's 100 years old.
  18. I don't care about Davis' win total. I'm sick of hearing about it. I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. I don't care.
  19. Not that anybody cares, but I was wrong about the scoring in every inning thing. It's happened 7 times in NL history, but only 3 times since 1900. The Rockies-Cubs game was in 1999.
  20. We have scored in every inning so far. I think that has only been done once in NL history for 9 innings (Rockies vs. Cubs a few years ago).
