    I've been impressed with this Coutlangus (sp) guy this year. His stats aren't anything outstanding, but he looks like he could develop into a pretty good RP or good LOOGY at the very least.

    For the sake of discussion, how about if somebody that believes the outcome of the game is determined by the lineup card tells all of us "fools" when a good time to rest Prince would be. And also for the sake of discussion, let's assume that "never" is not an option - since anybody should be able to look around the league and see that that is not realistic.

    A Cubs fan friend of mine called today to let me know that they are 2 games behind the Brewers (like I wasn't aware of that). I just said, "So, you're calling to remind me that the Brewers are still in first place? Thanks for the call." I agree with the original post that there is no reason to panic with 2+ months to go. I also agree that some people are a bit edgy right now, and there is going to be some backlash. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif These pennant chases should be fun. All that matters is who is ahead on Oct 1st. The Cubs will cool off, and the Brewers will (hopefully) get the bats heated up again.

    Imagine that... Weeks swings at and misses a breaking ball, and Hardy hits a weak grounder to short. I think we've seen that combination about 100 times recently (although not back to back, since Weeks hasn't been leading off lately).
